"Ellen" - The original sitcom..

Did you like that show? I used to love to watch it - thought she was hysterical..

So.....tonight I did my "bit" to "stimulate the economy".. Found a good price on all 5 seasons on-line tonight (DVD's), so I went ahead and ordered them..

They claim that laughing has healing properties, so can I get away with saying I purchased these DVD's for "medicinal purposes"???

I love her first sitcom. I really need to buy the whole series. It was such a sweet, silly show. I can just think of a few episodes and I bust out laughing. Good purchase

I was going to try secondspin, but I've never done business with them before, so I figured I would stick with what works for me - Amazon.com.. Most are new and I think one season was used, but like new..

If I were a dr. I would prescribe it! It's just so darn funny, it will relax you. I wish I had thought to get it while I have been on leave from work. Sometimes we just need to get away from CSI, Dateline, House, etc. I really, really love this show. They used to show it on Lifetime, I think. But now it's not on any channel. There are so many episodes that come to mind that I want to mention, but I don't want to spoil it!

My favorite that was cracking me up thinking about it last week was when they go to the Spa and they try to break out and get stuck on the fence.

I remember that one! Paige tells Ellen they are going to some fancy spa, but it's really a strict weight loss clinic. That is a really good one!
