Thanks. I loooooooved Kona. It was the restuarant I had looked forward to the most (based on the menu) and it did not dissapoint.

I am going to try and complete day 7.

Day Seven Cont....

Okay so we left off with us arriving at Epcot for our World Showcase evening. We were going to go and see if we could hop on Test Track but with not a ton of time left before our ADR and our desire to see part of WS before dinner. So we waved goodbye with a promise that when we returned whether it be the next year or two years I would ride.

We headed toward Canada eh, and we greeted by the beautiful Canadian landscape.

WaltDisneyWOrld199.jpg

Before proceeding to the O Canada Film I stopped and drooled over the Le Cellier Menu, maybe one day. :rotfl2:

We only waited about 10 mins for the next showing and I thought the film was really cute. The scenery was just gorgeous and makes me want to go and explore more of Canada.

After the movie we explored around some more hitting the shops of course (If you had not gathered yet Mom and I are Olympic trained shoppers). We ended up getting my Grandma a stuffed Otter as those are her favorite and figured that once we took our cats back home she would appreciate something fuzzy to cuddle.

WaltDisneyWOrld200.jpg

WaltDisneyWOrld201.jpg

Loved the waterfalls.

WaltDisneyWOrld203.jpg

We bid goodbye to the Moose and lumberjacks then headed over to the United Kingdom

WaltDisneyWOrld205.jpg

Ahhh the land of bangers and mash, football, and the Beatles. We again browsed through the shops. Nothing was bought but I did see some great Beatles merchandise that I had a hard time walking away from.

We then spotted Winnie the Pooh and the Gang inside the toy shop and they were just leaving for a quick break and would be back in 10 mins so we waited in line for them despite having gotten our pics with the Halloween versions earlier in the week.

Don't you just love this shot

Photopass0010.jpg

Photopass0011.jpg

Eeyore was very happy to see himself on my shirt which garnered another huge hug for me (2 hugs from Eeyore in less than a week at that point I could have died happy)

We bid farewell to our Hundred Acre Friends and stepped outside just as the British Invasion Band was taking the stage. So we grabbed some curb and sat and watched for a bit. I also took some pics

WaltDisneyWOrld206.jpg

WaltDisneyWOrld207.jpg

The band was great. I love the music of the 60's (I always tell my mom I was born 20 some years to late) and the Beatles are my top band.

WaltDisneyWOrld208.jpg

WaltDisneyWOrld209.jpg

After a little while we got up and headed to browse the rest of the shops. I had to drag my mother out of the tea shop because she has so much tea already at home and still had not opened he $75 worth of tea she bought from some fancy shop when we took a weekend trip to Columbus, OH a few months earlier.

We then headed across the bridge to France. I of course had to stop and get this pic

WaltDisneyWOrld210.jpg

France was the country I was looking forward to the most as I love Paris. No I have never been but I have dreamed of going there since I was a little girl. In fact my room and bathroom are both themed in the Eiffel Tower. I even have cute Hello Kitty Paris bathroom accessories.

I love this pic taken from the bridge of both Japan and America together.

WaltDisneyWOrld212.jpg

We finally arrived in France and of course I had to take more pics

WaltDisneyWOrld213.jpg

I just love Disney themeing

WaltDisneyWOrld214.jpg

Mom make a quick stop into the Perfume store while I wandered around outside as my allergies would have gone crazy if I had gone in.

We still had a bit of time on our hands and decided to go see "Impressions de France" We again waited less than 10 minutes and the movie was beautiful. It really makes me yearn to visit France even more.

After the movie it was 5:20 and 10 minutes to our ADR so we went and checked in and were seated right away.

Our server was Virginie and was pleasant and very efficient. She explaind what was eligible to us on the dining plan and mom was excited that she could do the prefix 3 course menu.

I ordered a coke and mom ordered an Ice Tea.

We then both ordered our entrees.

Since mom had the prefix menu she got an appetizer of the lobster bisque (sorry no pic of that one) but she said it was yummy and wondered if it would be rude to lick the bowl.

While she was eating her soup a little chef stopped by

WaltDisneyWOrld215.jpg

WaltDisneyWOrld216.jpg

He was so cute and I was glad he was still there when we went.

For dinner mom had

WaltDisneyWOrld218.jpg

(thanks to allears) Filet de Saumon, ratatouille sauce Choron - Broiled salmon, tomato Bearnaise, ratatouille made with onions, zucchini, eggplant and bell peppers

Again she was in heaven and even ordered a glass of wine to go along with it.

I had

WaltDisneyWOrld217.jpg

Filet de boeuf grille, sauce au poivre noir Gratin Dauphinois et haricots verts - Grilled tenderloin of beef with a black pepper sauce original potato gratin of Savoy and green beans

So yummy :lovestruc the beef was so good and the sauce made the meal. The potaotes were good and the green beans were okay. I am not the biggest fan of green beans but they were decent.

Our waitress took our picture together

WaltDisneyWOrld219.jpg

Here is mom's dessert

WaltDisneyWOrld220.jpg

Profiteroles au chocolat - Puff choux with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce

Again she thought they were delicious

I had (sorry about the missing bite)

WaltDisneyWOrld221.jpg

Crepe a la pomme et cannelle, glace vanille, caramel jus de pommes - Crepes filled with cinnamon, apple, vanilla ice cream and apple caramel sauce

Yummy. I love apple anything and these did not dissappoint.

Our total bill would have been $98.03 but we used 2 table credits and only had to pay for the wine and tip.

My mom still says that this was the best meal of the trip. I while I liked it was still in love with our Kona meal but Chefs will be a place we return to.

TBC....

Day 7

After dinner we went back into the shop you get dumped out into form the French Film and did some damage. We each got an Eiffel Tower Key Chain (Mine is silver, hers is gold), I also got a small bronze Eiffel Tower for my desk and a couple of postcards.

After we shopped of course we had to stop in the Boulangerie Patesserie for some goodies using up some snack credits. We picked out 2 chocolate croissants and 1 plain croissant that would be breakfast the next morning.

It would have been $10 OOP but we used 3 snack credits instead.

We headed off towards Morroco and browsed around for a bit.

WaltDisneyWOrld222.jpg

WaltDisneyWOrld223.jpg

Next up was Japan and I was going to get a pearl here but it was so crowded that I decided against that and instead had my heart set on getting one at Sea World.

We again browsed for awhile

WaltDisneyWOrld224.jpg

WaltDisneyWOrld225.jpg

WaltDisneyWOrld227.jpg

Next up was that foreign country of America

WaltDisneyWOrld229.jpg

Mom went to find a bathroom while I stopped for a bottle of water (I Paid OOP for) and was hit on by the really cute guy behind the counter.

We had wanted to see the American Adventure show but it was almost 8 and we wanted finish up and find a good spot for illuminations.

We basically skipped Italy only stopping to take one pic

WaltDisneyWOrld230.jpg

Next was Germany and I was on a mission to find something for my Uncle. See on my dad's side of the family his dad (My grandpa) and his sibilings were first generation Americans. My Great Grandparents imigrated here in 1900 and we even have a picture of the first family reunion here in the stated from 1912 where my grandpa was only 3. So I knew something from Germany would please my Uncle. We browsed the shops and I finally decided on a beer glass with Germany written on it in the colors of the flag.

WaltDisneyWOrld231.jpg

WaltDisneyWOrld232.jpg

Then trough the outpost and into China but not before grabbing some nightime pics

WaltDisneyWOrld233.jpg

WaltDisneyWOrld234.jpg

We explored through the China pavillion and let me tell you if I had cash to spare I would be buying my plates from there. They were gorgeous and I loved that I could mix and match them.

WaltDisneyWOrld235.jpg

At this point I stopped taking pics cause my batteries died and I did not feel like digging in my bag for more.

We browsed through Norway where mom had her heart set on a sweater until she saw the prices (one was $600 :scared1: ). So with no sweater in hand we made our way to Mexico to take a boat ride with a couple of Caballeros.

After Mexico we made our way over to a spot that was near the friendship dock on the Mexico side and found a place to sit. Mom held down the fort while I ran to the restroom and got us a frozen coffee drink to share.

We only waited about 20 minutes for Illuminations to start and all I can say is WOW :worship: that was on of the best fireworks shows I have ever seen (besides Hallowishes of course). Disney sure knows how to put on a show.

Afterwards we made our way out of the park. It was nice to be so close to the entrance and not have to make a huge hike out.

As we were waiting inline for our bus back to the CBR some guy ran right into my mom and almost knocked her down while he was trying to cut the line. I was just about to say something when the guy infront of us went off on him and showed him the back of the line.

We only waited aboiut 10 mins for our bus and the ride back was interesting. They had us packed into that bus like sardines. Mom and I got seats and the aisleway was packed with people standing. The driver was a riot and just before she turned the lights out to leave she told all of us that she would not tolerate any "hanky panky" since everyone was so close together.

We got back to the resort and mom headed to the room while I went to fill our mugs and I grabbed some cantelope using a snack credit to go along with our pasteries for breakfast.

Up next: Our last full day :sad1: and a trip to Hollywood.

I just found your trip report and am really enjoying it. We were there about the same time as you and your mom. The dinner at Chefs de France looks delicious. I think we might have to put that on the list of possibilities for this September.
Great report! Wish I would have found it sooner. :)

:welcome: Thanks for joining in. I would reccomend Chefs de France for dinner. It was good food and good service. I hope you continue to enjoy.

September 20, 2009

Hooray for Hollywood

Well it was the morning of our last full day at Disney and I was beginning to feel a little sad but we still had a full day ahead of us. We ate our French Pasteries for breakfast (I wish I had one right now they were so good). And we made our way to the bus stop to try and make our way in Hollywood.

The buses were running a bit slow that morning and we had to wait a bit before one came. While we were waiting I made a new best friend. A little boy about 4 who was fascinated by our waterbottle fan. He was adorable. Once the bus came we had the best bus ride ever. There was a family sitting across from us and the Dad was having everyone ask the bus driver "are we there yet?". The bus driver took it in stride and kept threatening to seperate us all our he would "turn the bus right around and no one would enjoy the park" When we finally got there we all unloaded.

It was about 11am by that point (see we kept missing rope drop but it worked for us). We knew it would be a long day as we planned to stay and see the 2nd Fantasmic showing.

We grabbed a map and times guide and decided to go see the Beauty and the Beast Stage Show so we headed towards Sunset Blvd. I did stop in one of the shops to get a lemonade slush (snack credit) as we were both thirsty and hot.

We had a little time to kill so we browsed the shops on the way and found a seat to enjoy our drink and call my Aunt Marci to check in about things so far. It was then time to enter the theater and find our seats. I want to mention that on this particular day I had chosen to wear my Adam Lambert American Idol Tour tee and got so many compliments on it and people kept asking me where I bought it.

Since my mom was walking with her cane that day they sent us down the handicapp ramp off to the side and sat us in the handicapp seating. While we waited we meant a wonderful young girl and her family that had come to sit with us. The oldest daughter was hilarious telling me all about her favorite, Beauty and the Beast.

The show started and I loved it. Beauty and the Beast was a big favorite in our family. My Uncle still to this day claims Gaston is his hero since they are both strong, handsome men :rotfl2:

Here are just a few of my pics

I took a ton more so I'll spare you.

After the show we then headed back towards the front of the park to go on "The Great Movie Ride" I have to say I was a tad bit dissappointed in the ride. It was okay but I was expecting more.

After the GMR mom and I were hungry and it was only 1:30 and our ADR at 50's PTC was not until 2:25 but we decided to see if we could be seated early. We checked in and she said it might be possible that we could get in early, so she put our names in and not 15 mins later we were seated. We had a wonderful server "Aunt" Donna who explained the rules, no elbows on the table, please and thank you, and no dessert before you veggies were gone. We ordered our drinks and I was pleased to see that we could get Rootbeer floats so we each had one. While we waited for our drinks I took a pic of the great decor.

waltdisneypart2029.jpg

My grandma had one of these while I was growing up

For our entrees I got (again thanks to allears)

Mom's Old-Fashioned Pot Roast - slow-cooked until fork tender served with mashed potatoes, carrots, celery and onions $16.99
waltdisneypart2031.jpg

So yummy. My piece of meat had very little fat and I loved the veggie "sticks" with it.

Mom had

Aunt Liz's Golden Fried Chicken - served with mashed potatoes, chicken gravy and southern greens $14.99

waltdisneypart2032.jpg

She loved it but could not finish it all as it was a lot of chicken. I tried a bite and it was good.

Since my Mom had her birthday button on Aunt Donna had our section sign a birthday card and sing happy birthday to her with a cupcake

For Dessert mom had the

S'mores $4.79

waltdisneypart2034.jpg

I had

Dad's Brownie Sundae - Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream, Hot Fudge, and Caramel topping $5.99

waltdisneypart2035.jpg

Here is Mom with Aunt Donna

waltdisneypart2038.jpg

Lunch would have been $54.32 OOP but we used 2 TS credits

So what would the rest of the day bring? And what did I do or not do that I feared would get my Disboard membership revoked?

Love your updates. Looks like we have the same taste in foods. EPCOT is such a great place to take pictures, isn't it?

I love BatB. It's my favorite show to see. I can't seem to get enough of it nor do I get tired of it.

Great pictures too. :thumbsup2

You should pop over to my PTR and help me finalize my ADR selections. :goodvibes

All caught up again. :thumbsup2 I'm a little nervous to hear what you did that could get you kicked off the DIS boards! :confused3

I always have a hard time with the last day of vacation. It is sad because it is the last day but I try to remember that I still have a whole day.
We never make it to a rope drop either. I try and try but I usually can't get the kids (or hubby) moving. My parents go along too and they are always up and raring to go. Just not the rest of the family. :)

Great pictures! Especially of the Beauty and the Beast show. That is always one of our favorites. I just wish it was indoors. It usually gets really warm.

Another great update!:thumbsup2:)

Thanks. I did love Epcot and would love to spend more time exploring the countries to get more.

Don't worry it is nothing too extreme.

I know the last day of any vacation is hard but we still had over a week left visiting other sites and I was sad to see the Disney portion coming to an end.

I will try and update more this weekend but if not I will do a bunch next week as I am on spring break.

Thanks for reading

*sorry for the lack of updates, life again got in they way.

Day 8 cont......

We left off with leaving our yummy lunch at 50's Primtime Cafe. Just as we were leaving the Block Party Bash was starting so we took a few minutes to enjoy.

waltdisneypart2039.jpg

waltdisneypart2040.jpg

We checked the wait time for Star Tours and decided to pass as standby was at 45 minutes and I was the only one who wanted to ride. We did check out the giftshop hoping to find something for two of my cousins but everything I saw was out of budget for them (we set a limit for each family member) so feeling defeated we kept on our journey and headed towards Muppet Vision 3D.

waltdisneypart2041.jpg

waltdisneypart2042.jpg

waltdisneypart2043.jpg

I love the Muppets as does my mom. I grew up watching all the movies and in the past few years we have begun to collect the Muppet Show on DVD. I personally love Animal while my Mom's favorite is Miss Piggy. So as you can probably guess we loved the show. I love all the corny jokes. Also one of the only memories that sticks out in my head from our trip in 1991 was when Sweetums comes out into the auditorium and was glad to see he still does.

After Muppets we of course hit the gift shop. I was sad to see that they did not have a ton of Muppets stuff. I was hoping they had a Statler and Waldorf tee for my Uncle who loves them (He keeps an ornament I gave him of them out all year long) but nothing. I did however find my cousin Jonathan a tee that had his favorite pixar characters on it.

According to that recieptit was 4:05pm so we continued on our journey. We then decided to explore the streets of America. I spotted these guys out but their line was too long so we moved on.

waltdisneypart2045.jpg

Now thanks to a tip from the Disboards I knew to look for the singing umbrella and asked my mom to take a pic of me under it. Well my mom is not very savy when it comes to my camera so this was the only one she got that turned out.

waltdisneypart2046-1.jpg

A pic of a street in America

waltdisneypart2047.jpg

See how crowded it was. That was the only time we ran into a big crowd in DHS until Fantasmic that night.

The fountain from the movie Splash (My dad loved this movie)

waltdisneypart2048-1.jpg

waltdisneypart2049.jpg

I loved this

waltdisneypart2050.jpg

We then headed for the backlot tour where we watched the preshow

waltdisneypart2051.jpg

waltdisneypart2052.jpg

waltdisneypart2053.jpg

This Guy was hilarious as the Captain of the ship.

continued in next post

So now here is my embarassing moment. As we walked toward the warehouse I spotted something right outside the entrance and began to squeal to my mom "it's the chicken coop, it's the chicken coop from Hannah Montanna" My Mother looked at me like I had grown another head and then procceed to laugh when she realized what I was talking about.

waltdisneypart2054.jpg

waltdisneypart2055.jpg

waltdisneypart2056.jpg

We then procceed through the warehouse and onto the tram.

I squealed again upon seeing this

waltdisneypart2057.jpg

waltdisneypart2058.jpg

waltdisneypart2059.jpg

(think anyone would have noticed if I had that shipped to my house for the backyard?)

A few more pics from the tour

waltdisneypart2073.jpg

waltdisneypart2072.jpg

I have to say I was not impressed with the backlot tour. I have seen pics from our trip in 1991 and was sad that they had gotten rid of The Golden Girls house and the other props.

We then toured the exhibit

waltdisneypart2076.jpg

waltdisneypart2075.jpg

waltdisneypart2077.jpg

waltdisneypart2078.jpg

(can you tell I love pirates)

After the tour we headed back towards the front of the park the same way we had come back. I stopped to take this pic for my cousin

waltdisneypart2084.jpg

We stopped for another frozen lemonade using another snack credit (we still had 4 left after that) and strolled leisurely over to the Animation Courtyard taking a few pics along the way.

waltdisneypart2085.jpg

waltdisneypart2086.jpg

waltdisneypart2087.jpg

waltdisneypart2088.jpg

waltdisneypart2089.jpg

We made our way into the Magic of Disney Animation and played around in there. I would have stopped to get my pic taken with the Up! cast but Carl had just gone on break and he was the one I wanted my pic with since he reminds me of my late grandfather.

Now here is where I goofed. We both took a restroom break and I told my mom to give me her ticket and I would run and get us fastpasses (if any were left) for TSM. She said okay and when I got there they were all gone and wait itme was 60mintues. So we decided we would return after the last Idol show and see where we were at.

Great updates! While I was looking at your pictures I realized we had never gone on the Backlot Tour but it doesn't sound like it is worth the time.
I don't think I have ever noticed the Splash fountain either. I guess I will have to look for it next time! :)

Great TR! :thumbsup2

The backlot tour was closed when we went a couple weeks ago, so thanks for sharing your photos.

I know how depressing your last day of disney can be. You really want to enjoy yourself, but at the same time you think about how it's all going to be over the next day. It's especially hard when your at the airport waiting to board your flight to go home and you see all of the lucky people just getting off of their plane ready to "start" their vacation.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your TR! :goodvibes

It is interesting to see some of the props and the canyon experience on the Backlot tour, but I felt it was lacking something.

Thanks. As this was only the last full day at Disney and we still had a whole week left I was a little less upset than I thought I would be but still sad to see the Disney part end.

Great update and beautiful pictures!

Thanks!

on with the rest of DHS..... (warning it has very few pics)

So when I left off we were just leaving the animation courtyard area. It was about 6pm and the last Idol show started at 6:30 so we knew we wanted to head over that way. I sent my mom to get in line while I went around to the little giftshop area as you exit the AIE. Earlier in the day we had stopped and I had seen a Goofy tee where he is at the judge's table saying "What's Up Dawg" I knew I just had to have it, and as a bonus it was on clearance for $5.99 so I picked one up and went to meet my mom at the entrance. We spent time watching the little videos they play and Adam Lambert is in one of them so I gave a little fangirlish squee. They then had us all gather around to make a "hometown" video for the girl who had won the previous show. It was so cute we all screamed that we loved her and a little boy looked straight into the camera and told her that he loved her. Such a cute idea.

We were finally let in and I was amazed as to how much it does look like the real stage from the show. A few minutes before the show we had a warm up guy come out to get us ready and he told us we were the best audience of the day because we basically did anything he told us to do.

The show was amazing. We had two really great stand out performers. One was a guy who the "Go the Distance" from Hercules and a 16 year old girl who sang "Alone" by Heart. The girl who sang "Alone" won. I loved the whole experience of. It is defineately a must do for us because it will never be the same show twice.

After Idol we went over to TSM to see how long the wait was and it was over 60mins again and they were having tecnical difficulties so we skipped it. I was a little bummed but it just us something else new to do when we go back (Winter 2011 is now on the table).

Sooo we had a little time to kill so we walked through "Walt: One Man's Dream" and WOW was I impressed. I loved all the exhibits, mom loved the one with all the Mickey Mouse Club stuff as she grew up watching that. It is so amazing how his dream has lived on for so many years after his death.

We decided to skip the movie in order to head over to Sunset Blvd to get something to eat. Now when we had first planned our day we were going to skip Fantasmic! as there was only one showing and I had read on here how crowded it gets. So the orginal plan had us at DHS on a completely different day and we were going to go to MK in the late afternoon and spend the night there for the EMH until midnight. Well then they added a second show at 9:30 and we decided that we wanted to go so after some juggling of ADR's we were able to go.

We decided on the Sunset Market Ranch area for dinner as it offered a large variety. I ended up at Catalina Eddie's for a pepperoni pizza, chocolate cake and a coke. It was good, fresh and hot. Mom went over to the Fairfax Fare stand and got the pulled pork sandwich, apple slices, carrot cake and a coke. She enjoyed her sandwich and loved the carrot cake. By the time we finished eating it was time to get in line for Fantasmic! They let us go up the handicapped entrance again as mom had her cane out and the CM at the entrance was commenting that people we shoving others in line and did not want my mom to fall :wizard:. So off we went to wait. It was not long until the first show had cleared out and we were let in. They showed us to the handicapped which my mom said was not necessary but the CM's insisted we sit there. They are nice seats and we could see everything. While waiting the audience kept doing the wave.

I have got to say that I loved Fantasmic! I am a sucker for those type of shows and even found myself misty when the princesses come around on the boats dancing with their princes.

As we were leaving I took these two shots.

waltdisneypart2091.jpg

(That was not the moon but some weird reflection in my camera but still cool)

waltdisneypart2093.jpg

So we headed to the buses and made our way back to the CBR for our last night there :sad1:

We finished packing up a few last minute items and watched a little tv before dreaming of Mickey.

Up Next: The best breakfast buffet ever!!!! and another meeting with those rascally pirates!

September 21, 2009

"See Ya Real Soon....."

So here we are at the last day of the Disney protion. I woke up with mixed feelings. I was sad to see it ending but excited about what was coming. But we still had breakfast and a whole afternoon at MK left.

We realized that we could not carry everything we had to the car ourselves so we called bell services and they sent someone up to help us. So instead of a million trips it took three. I do have to say though that we accumulated a lot of stuff. My dreams of being able to lay in the backseat traveling home we dashed when we needed it to put more stuff. We also still had a week left. I wish I had taken a picture as it was hilarious how stuffed the car was.

We took one more tour of the room and said our goodbyes. We then headed over to Old Port Royale to pick up our last package, fill our mugs, take one last look around the gift shop and hit the ATM.

The orgianl plans for the day were to go back to 1900 Park Fare for breakfast but we decided that we didn't want to go to the same place twice. So a few days before we leftI was able to get an ADR at Boma for 9:30am, more than an hour sooner than the orginal. I was very excited to be able to explore the Animal Kingdom Lodge and the buffet sounded good.

We got the the AKL and waited for the valet parking, and waited and waited. No one was coming over so I finally had to get out and ask for someone. Finally someone came and we were able to go and check in with minutes to spare. We were seated within 10 minutes and let me say it was one of the best breakfast buffets I have had. First off the frunch juice was yummy, I think I had 3 glasses. The food was really good to. I can't remember everything we had but whatever it was it was delicious.

I can't remember the final bill but we used our last 2 TS credits.

So with our bellies full we decided to take a look around the lodge. Wow is it beautiful. I would love to stay there one day. So as we looked around I took a few pics.

Before we left to go get the car, Mom ran to the restroom and I went to where else the gift shop. I grabbed a bunch of postcards that I had no seen elswhere and 2 green plastic mugs with the core 5 dressed for safari on them for my two cousins, Harvey and Wyatt. (They loved them and were so happy that they got to have their own 'offee 'ups like Daddy)

So after the giftshop we went to the car and headed over to the TTC to park and head over the the Magic Kingdom. We found a great spot in the handicapped lot and decided to take the ferry over.

We got through security and I just took it all in. It was 11:30 and we were ready to go. We decided to head towards Adventureland as we had not spent a lot of time in that area. Our first stop was once again.

Again I loved this ride. Also the Davy Jones effect was working and I swear they made that first hill bigger. Maybe it was because we sat in the front of the boat but our whole boat was laughing at the huge hill.

After Pirates we went over to

The wait time was a half hour so we grabbed fast passes and headed on our way.

Now I know that some find our next stop corny but I loved it. We went to

The next show was starting in 10 minutes and I have been singing the song since I was a little girl and heard it on our Disney cds.

I loved it. It was cute and a great place to sit and relax for a little bit.

After The Enchanted Tiki Room we still had a little bit before we could use our fastpasses so we stopped at the Sunshine Tree Terrace for a sweet treat. I got a rootbeer float and mom got a Pineapple float. Both were yummy and hit the spot. We used 2 snack credits.

After our cold treat it was time for our Jungle Cruise. We went through the fastpass lane and only wait 5 mins. (sidenote it seemed very crowded in MK that day as compared to other days we had been there). We had a great skipper and I laughed at every single corny joke he told.

Once we returned from our cruise mom and I head towards Liberty Square to go visit the Hall of Presidents. It was something that was on my mom's to do list and I had kinda wanted to go. Boy am I glad I did. I liked seeing all the presidents and thought adding Obama was good. I did remember it from when we went when I was 6 and when we were there one of the presidents fell over. So I was waiting for it to happen this time but alas everyone stayed put.

After HOP, we headed towards Fantasyland for a few more rides. First up was another spin on IASW, then onto Mickey's Phillharmagic. What a cute show!!! I loved the smell of apple pie and when the corks fly at you and you feel the breeze. We of course explored the giftshop.

Next up was Snow White's Scary Adventure. I was hoping we would get Dopey's car and we did!!! Dopey is my favorite. In fact when I was little he was my imaginery friend and we even got married in a lavish ceremony at our house on Kelley's Island. Hey I was three and had a lot of adults in my family who liked to please me.

After Snow White we explored some of the shops near the back of the castle.

It was 3pm by this time and we were both exhausted. Feeling satisfied with all we had accomplished during our stay we decided to head out. Besides you can't do everything or we would never go back ;)

So we headed out of Fantasyland and toward mainstreet. We still had 2 snack credits and 1 CS credit left. So we stopped in the Main Street Bakery and got a ham sandwich meal to split with a coke and chocolate croissant and used the snack credits to get another chocolate croissant and apple turnover.

We sat and ate the sandwich, coke and one of the croissants. While my mom cleaned off the table I ran into the Emporium and got a Tinkerbell Frame for my BFF Tiffany. I had looked all week for something and had kept the frame in mind as she loves Tinkerbell and her brother had just had a daughter so I figured it would be a good gift for her (She loved it)

With one last look at the castle and a promise to come back soon we headed out the gate and to the ferry.

We got to the car and looked at the map to see where we were headed next. The hotel was not far and we found it with no trouble. We were staying at the Sleep Inn on Westwood Blvd which is basically in SeaWorld's Backyard. I had decided on this hotel because of it location and the fact they had a free shuttle to SW everyday that would save us $24 in parking.

The hotel was nice. The room was clean and spacious for what it was. The bathroom was roomy and only had a walk-in shower which was fine.

After unpacking and resting for a little bit we headed out for dinner. One of the ads in our room was for a pizza place not far away and we were both caving pizza. I just have to say that Flippers pizza is delicious. We went and dined in. We both had Pepsi's (a welcome change from all the coke) and each got a medium pizza. I had pepperoni and mom had sundried tomatoes. It was yummy with nice thin crust. Our bill was under $20 (including tip) and we joked with our waiter that it was nice to be out in the real world again after having eaten only disney food for a week.

We headed back to the hotel, watched tv and turned in for the night. But this time instead of Mickey Dreams I had dreams of my buddy Shamu.

* I will continue with the rest of the trip as we had so much fun and got to see a ton of stuff.

***Up Next "I am home and hugging Shamu again."
