In other news... Rosie won't be at the show tomorrow (is her partner's birthday), so we'll have to be ready for "Ackward Friday"... I'm SO recording this show!!

OK - i just actually watched - and I take back what I said : Elizabeth really did hold her own here today!!!

I think she really did want to answer the question l (After realizing Rosie would not answer first) - Rosie kept interupting ..then shortly after EH did answer.

I have to say I can see Elizabeth's point! - I can see why she wanted Rosie to answer for herself...but at the same time I can see Rosie wanting Elizabeth to answer whether or not she agreed with the media......

Haha! I feel the same way. Now, I don't hate Elizabeth. I don't agree with her politically and feel she's not really a good enough speaker to be on TV. But I do think that she's a good person. And I don't really think it's fair to put her up against Rosie plus 2 other liberals.

Granted, I am a liberal democrat so I tend to lean towards Rosie's view more often (not always so exteme though), but Elisabeth is such a Republican poster child.

Can she EVER see anything wrong with Bush??

Maybe I could support her more if she could ever get out a thought with stumbling through it. She needs to take a debate class or two and learn how to state an opinion without getting flustered.

And someone please shut Barbara Walters up. She is another one who cannot complete a sentence without rambling.

I used to be republican but no more. I can't stand Elizabeth and Rosie does tell things like they are. I guess Bush watches the view since she was invited to the White House with the Queen. She never has made 1 remark against Bush!!

Yes, I caught that when I rewatched it. So much was **** was flying, that if you only watched once, it was hard to keep straight.

ah, but see, in every other place in the world EXCEPT NY (and northern parts of NJ) Decorum and acting ladylike demands more respect than being obnoxious, loud and rude.

I live in Northern NJ and I know very very few people like that. There are some people in the NYC metro area that love to wave their I am a NYer and we just tell it like it is flag. But it doesn't fly.

Yep. I've always liked and defended Rosie(aside from her 9/11 conspriracy theory crap) but I have to side with Elizabeth as well.

oh come on. He was rude inside of Laura's own house. If SC degraded and made fun of and was rude to my husband in my home, he would be shown the door. There is a difference between not agreeing with someone and showing total disrespect for someone (let alone the Pres. of US - whether you agree with him or not, the office deserves respect) in their own home.

Maybe Elisabeth realized Rosie's not such a good friend? Rosie's been taking digs at Elisabeth on her blog for awhile now. I think they really do like each other and are friends but their so different, it might be impossible to continue the friendship.

Thanks for the Utube link! Go Joy too! It is time she said her peice too and she sure did today..Why is no one mentioning how she ripped Bush apart for all his criminal and incompetent leadership~! Go Rosie too..I was fuming with Elizabeth Monday. She clearly left the impression she thought Rosie thought the troops were terrorists. If you only watch Fox you would think that too. Rosie is a fervent supporter emotionally and financially of the troops and EH knows it.

I watched yesterday's show this morning and kept thinking that Rosie looked very detached. I could tell something was bothering her. I had forgotten about the incident with EH on Monday. Then when I was watching this morning, I realized that is why Rosie was so glum yesterday. She was hurt that EH didn't deny thinking she thought the soldiers are terrorists. It's all over the internet that "Rosie rips into Elisabeth once again". I don't think Rosie cares what everyone in the media says about her, but it really hurt her that her "friend" was siding with the media.

I adore Rosie and really wish the show didn't have to turn to politics all the time. If you left that out it would be a fun show. I have to admit that I was loving the show this morning though. Unfortunately, I had to leave before hot topics was over. Can't wait to get home and watch it.
