Elisabeth Hasselbeck annoys me!

I can't stand Elizabeth , she seems very childish to me.
I don't like Rosie either, I agree w/ whoever called her a bully.

She irritates the heck out of me too. Her belief system is enough to be annoying, but it's just compounded by the fact that she's dumb.

It's kind like mixing booze and Benadryl - the end result is MUCH worse than either of one alone.

YES! we keep seeing all these people leave the VIEW and she is still here they need someone waaay better that knows what she is talking about. elisabeth gets flustered too easily.

That is why she is there, she is good for their side, because she is so inarticulate, she makes the conservative side look stupid. When they were trying out different conservative gals for her job, there was one that was either Italian or Latino looking that was AWESOME. She was too good though, she made the liberals look like babbling idiots and she could stand up to Joy really well and made her look like a fool, so she didn't get the job. Elisabith is there on purpose. I also think the reason she didn't have an answer right away is because she realizes she is on thin ice if she is "too conservative" so she weighs her comments in her head first to anticipate what Rosie and Joy are going to scream at her.

though I rarely agree with her - I don't want her gone because I disagree - I think bringing someone better in would make for a much better debate - which I love! Let Rosie go - let EH go ...then bring in two people who can present and defend the two sides of an issue in an educated way!!!! Of course, what I would prefer wouldn't necessarily entertain the masses and bring in ratings!

I don't think Rosie initial comment was taken out of context at all. She said that 655,000 civilians have been killed in Iraq and then looked at Elisabeth and said who are the terrorists now? If she meant that she could understand why the Iraqis could see us as terrorists she never said that. Either she didn't express herself properly or she really believes what she said initially. Either way I think it's silly that she's playing the victim now because when you make comments like the one she did you should expect a huge emotional reaction. I think she knew she'd get one and is enjoying every minute of this.

I still have a soft spot for Rosie because of all the good she does but it's hard to remember that when she says some of things she does, especially the 9/11 stuff.

I think it's because they're friends outside this show and Elisabeth believes that Rosie does see our troops as terrorists, she just didn't have the guts to say it.

Granted, I am a liberal democrat so I tend to lean towards Rosie's view more often (not always so exteme though), but Elisabeth is such a Republican poster child.

Can she EVER see anything wrong with Bush??

Maybe I could support her more if she could ever get out a thought with stumbling through it. She needs to take a debate class or two and learn how to state an opinion without getting flustered.

yeah - would mean a whole different audience to some extent - which explains why I rarely watch now, but would watch under those conditions!
