Electronic version of Disney Wedding photos??

I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of being able to purchase all your proofs/presentation images in their electronic format from Disney (I guess it would be purchasing the rights to them). My husband and I are thinking about investing in this so we can keep them in a safe deposit box and be able to print them out whenever we feel like it. It seems like I remember reading somewhere that you could and the cost was $1000.

Anyone heard of this/had experience with it???

Jennifer - You are correct. The cost of a high res cd of all your images from Disney is $1000. After a period of time, 3 years I think, the cost goes down to $99.

Does that mean that after three years you can contact them again and purchase them at the lower price? I've never heard of being able to do this before. While we're on the topic of photography, can someone explain to me what you get with the 8 hour package? How many proofs do you get, etc? I am confused

Yes I am interested in this also. On the site they show a break down of some sorts, an album, family album etc is that all you get? no prints? I know they put the photos up on a site and you can order from there ...is this correct? if so how much do the prints range?We were thinking of doing the 6 hour package to save money. one hour before ceremony,ceremony,hour after ceremony and 3 hours of the reception? We were also thinking of 6 hour package for video. the reason we are going through disney is we are hoping for a saturday wedding so we have to make sure we meet our min (so far it doesn't seem that will be too hard )

For this reason, we are going with Randy Chapman for our wedding photographer. With our package, we are getting the photos on CD.

To get a copy of a print from the website, it's $10 for a 5x7 and $20 for an 8x10...

I would really suggest contacting Disney Photographic Services and ask them about the packages. It is my understanding that things are changing (again) and what is on the site may not be up-to-date...
