Electronic Ticket Pickup Question

I ordered my park tickets before the free ticket SB thing and now have the free ticket voucher, which I plan to use on my trip in July. When I ordered my tickets, I requested electronic pickup. When I pick them up, can I save one for another trip? I assume they don't start counting the days down until you actually use it for the first time to enter the park. Is that correct? It doesn't start from the day you actually pick the tickets up.

The tickets are good from the date of activation not purchase. So...until you use it at the gate, the clock doesn't start ticking.

You are correct. You can save the electronic pick-up tickets for another trip. They won't activate until you use them.
