Deb Wills site has this as a favorite for her to see. I have never heard of it. Does anyone know about this and if so does it run year round? We are going in 5 days  so thought we would try to catch it if it still happens. Anyone know anything about this Electrical Water Pagent?

Thanks!

We have seen it every time we have stayed at WL through out the year. We had the best view from our balcony. And I would say it was around 10pm, but don't hold me to that. DEFINATELY A MUST SEE!!!!

EWP is a tradition for me and my family. My family took yearly trips to WDW and we always stayed at the Poly. The EWP shows there nightly at 9:00pm sharp. You can watch it from the beach, dock or if you're lucky enough, your own balcony! I can remember many a night as a little girl sitting on the balcony or on the beach in my PJ's watching it.

This year was my first trip without my family. I took my BF down to WDW for his first onsite stay. The first night we went to the Poly to watch EWP. I thought he was going to think it was corny but he said it was really cute and we went back on our last night as well to see it...as kind of a send off! It was very nice to be sitting on the beach with my baby watching something that I used to watch as a child.

It is definitly worth watching. It's not very long but you'll remember it forever!

The EWP is the earliest memory I have of Disney World. I was about five years old, and we took our motorhome (We now, of course, have a new one that we went in this past summer) and stayed at FWC and every night we heard this music and had no clue what it was. On our final night we heard it and walked along until we came to the beach and we all sat down to watch the little show. Ever since then I always have to see it at least once. The final night we were there this past summer my sister and I were waiting to go back to FWC and the EWP just began. It was totally a bittersweet way to say goodbye to WDW because we thought we wouldn't be back there for years. And now, nine months later we're going back! :)

Yeah, for me too! I remember seeing Pete's Dragon there and stuff, it was one of my favorite parts back then.

This past September, EWP didn't show every night like usuall because it was heavily damaged in the hurricanes. We were at GF and heard the music. The parade runs around Bay Lake so you can see it from all the monorail resorts.

Back in Nov, 2001, we stayed at the Poly and were really moved when the parade began, and they had changed it to add in a bunch of American flags. We were all crying on the beach.

It's fun and cute as others have said. Don't expect Spectromagic, and you'll enjoy it! LOL!

Have fun!

Aaawww, I missed that one. I completely forgot about the EWP. We just returned and stayed at the Poly.

Oh well........ :confused3

You can also see it outside of the Magic Kingdom where the boat dock are, it goes around the lagoon.

It's really nice to see so many others out there that also love one of my family's favorites!!! We have friends that saw it when they stayed at the Polynesian. I hadn't seen it at that point but our next trip down, we made sure to see it. We loved it...despite our friends saying it was really cheesy!!! I guess they thought it should have been more 'Spectro'-like!! I think it is really sweet and low key. We never miss it now.
