We will going down in Nov. and staying at Pop Century and want to see the Electrical Water Pageant. I know it can be viewed from some of the resorts and my question is will they let you in to see the show if you're not staying at the resort? Where is the best place to view it? Thanks.

Hi Fellow Michiganian!

Yes, you can go to one of the resorts to view the parade. We stayed at the WL last fall and saw it from there. It would probably be easiest, however, to view it from the Poly since you could just take the monorail there.

I believe the times are different at different times of the year. They have a schedule for when it can be viewed from the various resorts. It's cute, but it's not something I'd go to a great amount of trouble to see again.

If you're driving, most resorts will give you a 3 hour pass to park there. You have some great choices for seeing the Electric Water Parade. In all the times that we've been, it's usually done around 9pm, but I'm sure you can call and double check that. Are you looking to make this an event, or just to watch the EWP and head back to the Pop? If you want to make it an event, then I would suggest taking a ride over to Fort Wilderness. They have a great restaurant there called the Trailside Buffeteria. Depending on when everything is going on, you could have dinner, grab a hayride and then settle down at the beach to watch Wishes and the water parade. Other than that, you can see it from the boat ramp at the Magic Kingdom entrance or any one of the resorts on the lake.

from the polyn it is 9:00pm - unless the fireworks over the MK are at 9:00pm - then it is around 5 to 10 minutes after the fireworks stops.

at WL 9:30

Actually if the fireworks are at 9:00, which they were last Dec while we were there, the EWP begins immediately(within seconds) of the ending of the fireworks.

As for the times, I got this from allears.com....

"Another treat that comes with staying at a Magic Kingdom resort that's not as publicized as it should be is the Electrical Water Pageant. This convoy of beautifully lit floats makes a musical circuit around the Seven Seas Lagoon nightly, weather permitting, passing in front of the Polynesian around 9 p.m., the Grand Floridian at 9:15 p.m., the Wilderness Lodge at 9:35 p.m., Fort Wilderness at 9:45 p.m. and ending at the Contemporary around 10:05 p.m. Good viewing spots can be found along the beaches of any of these resorts, as well as from select restaurant locations -- Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian, for example, affords an on-the-waterfront seat. Try to see it if you can"
