:wave2: Can anyone please tell me about the electrical water pageant- what is it like, where is best to watch it from etc. Am goin WDW in Feb!! Cant wait!! :cool1:

Well..as Mk is closing, and you look out over the 7 seas lagoon..theres like a few lights and music..its not crowded..and quite pitiful if you ask me...infact I might even be thinking of the wrong thing ;)

My daughter and her friend have went to the dock at VWL to watch it. They were not impressed at all. I have never cared to watch it based on a glimpse I have gotten of it while riding the boat from MK. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to see it, especially if you are missing other shows/ attractions elsewhere. It is more like something you may see at your local Lake is about the best way to put it into words.

I'd say this was a pretty good analysis -we saw it for the first time night before last. We watched it fromt he "beach" at WL. (I had tried all week to get to it and insisted we go that night - now, atleast, I know not to bother again.) Basically, about 7-8 boats wiht lit pictures float up (3 add up to one dragon, one is an octopus, one is an alligator, ect.) After one song they ALL change into the same pic of an american flag and they play one patriotic song - the its over. Yes, pretty weak..... The REALLY little ones there liked it - but since it was 9:30 my really little one (3 yo) was in bed. The 7yo stayed busy building a sand castle and bearly looked up.

I hope you have a GREAT trip!!!!

ps - we "ran into" the Spectromagic parade at MK one night (was only going in to see Wishes...) - the 7yo LOVED that! great surprise moment!

If you're just hanging around the hotel (a no-park day, where you wouldn't be missing out on anything except wandering around at your hotel), then I'd go... my DH (then DBF) and I had tons of fun at the Poly sitting in a hammock watching- it was just nice to be outside looking at the stars and just hearing the subtle music from the hotel around us. We also had lots of fun exploring the Poly and GF, as well as walking by the wedding pavillion. We stayed until the fireworks at the MK too (it was Fantasy in the Sky back then...)

I agree with all the other posters though, it's not that big of a deal (unless you have itty-bitty kiddies [I remember thinking that it was the COOLEST thing ever when I was 4-5...]) but if you aren't doing anything else, go to the GF or the Poly to watch it (it starts over there first, I think) and just have fun exploring the hotels!
