What day of the week is your ressie? EWP is my favorite, so trust I clarified times when I was at BLT in September. It is at the the Contemporary beach at 10:05, only adjusting time if there is a later fireworks time (MNSSHP had 10 pm fireworks so barges waited for them to end before beginning pagent.

We will be there on a Monday, a non-MNSSHP day.

Eating at any of the Magic Kingdom areas resorts and watching the parade and fireworks is a good plan for a non-park day. I'm not the biggest fan of fireworks from the beach, but the overall experience is still nice. Geyser Point and Kona Cafe are nice, cheaper options than Ohana. Narcoossee's and Citrico's are great higher end options.
