electrical parade?

25 years ago I went to WDW with family, saw the electrical parade, loved it.
Went again to WDW 12 years ago, no electrical parade, I thought they said it was at DL.
Now I go to DL and I don't see the electrical parade on schedule???
Is it back at WDW or somewhere else?

Both the Electrical Light Parade, sometimes called Main Street Electical Parade, and Spectromagic are in MK, WDW right now, with the Main Street Electical Parade running.

I love that parade! I had no idea that it was not there some of the time. I googled it and read that it gets shipped between mk and wdw. Apparently it will be back at DL after spring 2012. We have never missed it on a trip.We are going in July so I guess it is great timing for us. I would really miss that if I did not see it there.

I love the Main Street Electrical Parade.. I know it's not in DLR right now. I think it's at WDW.. I miss it!

Apparently it will be back at DL after spring 2012.

That is a far fetched rumor. Don't count on that happening.

Rumor has it that it will return to Disneyland, not DCA either this year or next, but who knows?

Well I'm crossing my fingers for this year! We have passes so we will returning a few times. This or next would be great. But I had no idea they even moved the parade like that. I always learn somthing new on these boards.

It's so disappointing that it's not in DL more often. The last time we went to DL (beginning of April 2010), we were lucky enough to catch the Electrical Light Parade while it was in DL! My 6-year-old (then 4-year-old) absolutely loved it (my 3-year-old - then 1-year-old - would have but she fell asleep just a few minutes before it started, but loves the videos I took).

The EP has not been in DL for like 20 years. It was in DCA for a number of years - until 2009 or 2010 I believe and construction made it unworkable on the parade route.

There is also no talk of it coming back to DL or DCA. I think it will stay at WDW for good..

One can only hope and pray that MSEP comes back to its original location. Very fond memories as a child watching it so I will definitely be keeping my fingers crossed, although I know its a longshot.

I saw it at MK WDW a year and a half ago. Just as good as I remembered from being a child and seeing it!
