Where is the best place to watch the electrical parade in DCA that isn't too crowded?

We are going from April 1 to 4. It is on every night I think and DH has never seen it. I havent' seen it for about 10 or more years (when it was on Main Street!). Thanks !

My favorite place is by the Sun Fountain up front! Not sure about crowds while you are there because there will becrowds regardless because of Spring Break, but we usually do not have a problem getting a seat right up front where we want to be about 20 minutes before the parade!!

The Disneyland online calendar shows it playing nightly during those dates. Enjoy it! It's my favorite parade.

I prefer to watch it closer to the starting point, down by Paradise Pier. I like being able to beat the rest of the crowds out of the park by escaping out the back trail behind GRR.

Thanks for the replies. So I guess I know a whole lot less about the electrical parade than I thought! It starts at Paradise Pier? And...There's a park exit by GRR? Or is that through the Grand Californian? Can anyone exit there or do you have to be a guest of GC?

Is is going to be really busy there in a week...Albort? I was there Thanksgiving weekend last year and it was insane...is it that bad? Thanks :goodvibes

to be honest, i feel like its much busier now than nov and dec. but thats just DCA. probably the 2fer is really doing a lot of charm for DCA. Not to mention, sooooo many cheerleaders yesterday... -_-

To my amazement, the entire parade route is actually CROWDED. That is something i did not see during Christmas time.

so is this in a park? which park? I can kinda DL stupid:lmao: ...what time,I guess I need to really look at the times on the webside, i did quickly but didn't think i saw it...I plan on next week getting a personal itnerary started!!

im always at DCA...

I think its funny how they call it the "Main Street" electrical parade since its not on Main Street in the other park. Or am I blind an not realize there a 2nd mainstreet?

WAAAAAAAHH!! I want it to be less crowded...I was hoping for a slightly quieter trip this time.

Well it will still be awesome cuz I'll be in my favorite place in the whole wide world!!!

Crossing my fingers that it is just DCA and not DLR too...however I don't hold out much hope...:sad1:

The DEP is in DCA. It starts at 8:45. If you look on the calendar under your dates, you will see it listed under the DCA portion.

Oh, here, just let me link it for you:

DLR stopped calling it the MSEP when the changed it to DCA. It is now referred to as "Disney's Electrical Parade." The music has even been changed to reflect it.
