How well can you see the the Electrical Parade from the Wishes FP Area? Can you stay there the whole time to see the parade, the castle show and then Wishes?

I've been told by a couple people on the disboards that no, viewing MSEP from the Wishes fp area is not a good idea.

Can you get a FP for the 3:00pm parade at MK and Wishes on the same day?

What is the best plan to try and see the Electrical Parade and then get to a FP for Wishes? Is it even worth getting a FP for wishes? Does that FP area still become available 2 hour before it starts? Is it necessary to get there that much in advance and if so then it seems to defeat the purpose of the FP

I can't answer your question about seeing the parade, but I can tell you we always just show up at the Wishes FP+ location just before Celebrate the Magic starts and head to the back of the viewing area where there has always been plenty of room. Since all the action is up high, you can see great from the back of the area. There is a little more space between people back there.

1. Yes.
2. It can be.
3. No.
4. It's not at all necessary to show up that early.
Some guests just don't know any better.

Not well.
You will be behind multiple other guests standing between you and the parade.
There are one or two posters here who say that they don't mind (or actually like) the obstructed view of the parade from the Wishes FP area.
My confusion is... if you don't mind standing behind a bunch of other guests, then why all the fuss of arriving an hour or two before the parade and trying to get and hold a curbside spot?
Why not just stand anywhere along the parade route behind rows of other guests and watch the parade that way, all the time?

If you happen to be able to book them.
They are not mutually excluded (no "FP+ tiers" in MK.)

You can book them for the same day. Just remember though you won't be able to get a 4th, 5th, 6th, etc......FP that day since you won't be able to use your Wishes FP until late in the day. We have never booked Fast Passes for parades or Wishes, but that is just our personal preferance.

My point exactly!! As long as you do not have to get there two hours in advance what would be the time you should and still get a good spot in the FP area for wishes, where is the best place to get a spot for the parade without seeking it hours in adance, and last how soon before the parade would you need to get there?

1. Half-hour before Wishes.
2. Deep in Frontierland, past Country Bears or in Liberty Square near Hall of Presidents.
3. Depending on the time of year and the luck of your particular day at the MK,
40-90 minutes before the parade start-time.
