Electric Water Pageant Damaged

We just got back today from our vacation.

Just thought I'd mention that the Electric Water Pageant was damaged with the hurricanes. We went down to the dock to watch it the first night we arrived, and I noticed that they only had the first set of cars...and as we watched...the octopus (last car in the first set) didn't light either. After talking to a cast member, they said the octopus and the whole second set of cars was damaged and that although they keep asking when they will be repaired, they haven't got an answer yet.

that's too bad. I hope everything is fixed when we get there. That parade is one of my favorite ways to relax at the end of the day.

I don't think it was just the hurricanes. When we were there in early summer they only used one of the sets of boats and the show seemed very abbreviated with sound problems to boot.

That's wierd. My boyfriend and I were there on 9/10-9/14 right after Frances and before Ivan and Jeanne. We watched the EWP twice while we were there and there were no problems whatsoever!

Maybe we just got lucky? I'm so glad though, it's one of the things I really look forward to seeing while I'm at WDW ever since I was little!

...best place to view EWP at Ft W? We are renting a cabin (pref. loop 2500) and I am not entirely familiar with the campgrounds....

Just go down to the FW beach. We like to bring a pizza from the Trail's End and sit at one of the picnic tables on the beach to watch the parade!

They've been messing with the water pagent for years.
They've down scaled it and changed the original music a few years back.
Frankly, I like the old version, especially the music.
