we are going to epcot 7-18(whoohoo!) and i was wondering if anyone has eaten at the Electric Umbrella in Inoventions West. The menu sounds good. Thanks

This was probably the best surprise of our WDW dining experiences in June! We hadn't planned to eat there, but when we got to Sunshine Season Food Fair (where I'd planned for us to eat) nothing sounded appealing, so we decided to give Electric Umbrella a try. DH and I had the turkey sandwich with muenster cheese and orange mayonnaise in foccacia bread with pineapple coleslaw. Both DS's had bacon double cheeseburgers. Everything was absolutely delicious! :D

We also were pleasantly surprised with the new sandwich selections at Electric Umbrella. We ordered chicken tenders, which we love, but we also tried the roast beef. It had bacon, provolone cheese & mayo on a very fresh bun. It was delicious. They also had ham & cheese on some kind of pretzel bread & the turkey sandwich that kaycee mentioned. They both looked good & I'm sure we'll try them in the future!

If you don't mind sitting outside, (it's gonna be HOT) you can watch the beautiful fountain show from the EU outdoor seating area. Enjoy!:sunny:

We always have at least one dinner at Electric Umbrella . . .they have really good food.

You can eat either outside or inside. We've always eatin inside, but if the weather is bearable outside would be nice too!

Have a great time!

We had a great lunch there in April but it was the longest wait for food we had the entire trip. The place was packed at 2 PM that day.

We must have hit a bad day there or something because when we ate there, our food was DISGUSTING! We are not picky eaters, but it was just bad. DD had a hot dog (how do you mess up a hot dog?), it was cold and DD said it was slimey. DH and I had cheeseburgers and they just didn't taste right. The fries were VERY greasy and mushy, like they hadn't been cooked long enough and then sat in the grease fryer, not frying, just soaking in there. About the only edible thing we got was DS's chicken strips and they weren't all that great. I'm glad others have had better experiences! Hope you do too!
