Electric Scooters for getting around the Fort

We are looking at getting two electric scooters. Basically we like the kind you can stand on or have the optional seat. I have found this one --

but it seems to be alittle pricey. Plus I would hate to order something like that and then not be happy with it. Does anyone know anything about them or have something like this that they are happy with? Really like the portability of them, just fold them up and throw them in the car. Would have to figure out a way to lock them up because they would definitely disappear when parked at the marina.

I maybe wrong....but I am not sure they permit those motorized scooters in FW?

According to the rules, electric scooters are allowed at the fort. I'm not looking at renting, I'm looking at purchasing.

We had Schwinn 1000 sit down ones. They are fun, the battery doesn't last very long though. Sam's Club has 750 at a good price.

We just got two of the 750s at Walmart.com...hoping to use them on our next trip to the fort....how long does the battery last? Can you use them to loop? How about decorating them for the parades?

About 1 hour continuous riding IIRC. Decorating them would be a cool idea.
