My father is going with us on our trip in December. He'll be using an electric scooter.

Can he get on the WDW Railroad?

Can he use the boat from Wilderness Lodge?

Thanks!

When we took the boat from WL to MK we saw a man roll off the boat on his wheelchair. It took some extra time but it worked out fine.

Like literally rolled off the boat?! Into the water?!

Didn't you hear about it ? It's the newest attraction, but only available to those riding a scooter that was not rented within a park. They're trying to work out the kinks though, like if a life vest will be required. ;)

Hey there!
You can find out any information you want about ECV's by going to the DISabilities Forum of DISboards. I myself am renting an ECV for our trip in June. You can find out about rides, renting from outside companies, what type to rent, etc... The people on this forum are only too happy to help you!:thumbsup2 I've gotten a lot of great advice in the last couple of months!!!:worship: Hope this helps!!!!

if he takes the train and wants to get back his scooter, he has to get off at the same stop... there won't be scooters waiting at the next stop necessarily
