What is this (or was it?)

I saw on another site that this is something that is done nightly.

I'm sure someone on here will have info about it. :goodvibes

It's the Electric Water Pageant and is a series of barges that come out onto the lake with animated lighting to music. Makes figures like king neptune, whales, dolphins, american flags, etc. Happens every night. Worth seeing once.

Have they changed the parade? My sister got back a couple weeks ago and said it was completely different...lots of different flags but none of the usual things, like the dolphins or sea serpent. :confused3 She has seen it many times before and can't imagine what they did to it.

We usually stay at the Poly, and know when to go out and wait for the EWP. What time does it start at the FW beach? We don't want to miss it! :confused3

9:45 pm. :) We always go down, watch the fireworks at 9 pm, then the kids play in the sand til the parade starts. :Pinkbounc

Thanks! 9 more days and we will be there. Yipee

We saw the EWP from the Poly on 9/22. This was our first time so I don't know if they changed it, but they most definitely had the sea serpent and the chasing dolphins.

Watched this 5 times in July (yes, sad I know). They had the sea serpent, the tortoise, the crocodile etc with King Triton at the back - then the floats/boats change to stars and stripes flags to the tune of Yankee Doodle Dandy - it's cool.

Not sad at all. When we were younger, my grandmother would take my parents, brother and I to WDW every other year. She generally sprung for a monorail resort. Every night after dinner, we would ride the monorail loop (resort loop, and Epcot loop) and then head to the beach to watch the EWP. EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT. It's one of my all time favorite memories.

We're going back in February, and already have the plan to call my brother from the beach at FW and let him 'listen' to the parade. :rotfl: (now, THAT's sad)
