Does anyone know of a store near them that has a Pete's Dragon left? I saved it for last because my "little collection" was getting very expensive. Now they have stopped making the set and I am dragonless

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Sandy

Is this a figurine you are looking for?

It is an actual ligh up piece (when turned on) and sits on a wooden base

Thanks for looking!

I don't belive I have ever seen one of these... If I do (now that I know about them) I will let you know what I find. Good luck in your search.

Your talking about the Electrical Parade pieces from the WDCC, right?

I hate to do it, but I'd recommend Ebay. My dad bought the pieces 2 years ago and he had a really hard time finding Elliot then. He lucked out and a piece was returned to one of the Seattle Disney stores and friends told us he was there.

Good luck

I have a search on e-bay (where it emails me) for 6 months now. No luck!

Thanks anyhow

Sandy,

Check this site out-

and this one as well-

This is a hard figurine to come by. I have this one, and it has a problem with the lights functioning incorrectly. I had heard that the company took a lot off the shelves and then never replaced them therefore it became a hard piece to find. I decided to keep mine instead of turning it in, and hoping to get another. All my locals stores were all ready out of them and had wait lists. None of these stores had their stock replenished. Good luck!!

It was a big search to get all the other pieces I have. My udnestanding is part of the reason for the discontinuing is they are not reliable. I would try 3-6 of each kind before finding the "best" that I was willing to accept.

Call me pathatic, but we just had them all on tonight with the lights off and our ELP music. My 7 Year old was crying because we found out today that when the real ELP comes back from Paris at the end of March it is being retired forever.:( :( :(

This is a VERY hard figurine to get. You can try disneyanaexchange.com but right now they are out of it.

Fiver, there is a place in Springfield, MA, Tressler & sons I think, that is authorized to repair the WDCC figrines. I do not know their prices etc. You can check with the above website for more info.

I have the Cinderella coach and it works fine. i don't usually turn it on though. I only bought that piece for the 50th anniversary. I have a photo of me 7 Ms. Woods in a small pewter Cindy frame.

Good luck finding your dragon piece. You might want to check with any WDCC dealers in your area. If they don't have the piece, they might be able to make some other suggestions.

This may not be very helpful at all
but....................

I believe the piece you are looking for IS listed on Ebay right now. It ends in about an hour from now. It's also a bit expensive, for me anyways. I think I saw these pieces in WDW a year or so ago but didn't get them because I didn't want to pay what I think was like 80.00 for each piece. Guess I should have.

Well the listing at Ebay is
WDCC Electrical Parade~ELLIOTT~Pete's Dragon

Hoope this link works. Is this allowed?

If not I'm really sorry just trying to be helpful

Thanks for the info Gone Disney. I spoted that after my initial post but am thinking he must be violating some scalping law:smooth:

Let's see - AP's or Dragon???

Thanks anyhow,
Sandy

let's see do I want to know that I can drop by Disney for a short or long stay at anytime this whole year? Or do I want to look at the Pete's Dragon which is very nice but.........?

Definately AP's , no questions asked!

I found these 2 links. these may get you started in finding the piece you want and hopefully at a fair price. It has to be available somewhere, I would think.

from the real disney site
http://disney.go.com/DisneyArtClassics/classicscollection/index.html

I would use the dealer locator and call a store near you. Heck call any of them till you find someone who can help.

I have no claim to this next site and I've never used their service so I can not say if they are reputable. Please be careful when using any site you are not sure of. It's worth calling to see if they have it though. They seem to be out of Canada.
