Electric Ice Cubes

I've heard alot about these "eletric ice cubes" and after much thought on this subject I've came to the conclusion that I must have them. I have a upcoming trip in May and I want to know where they have them or which places I can order drinks with them. I think it would be a nice surprise for my wife.

Most places have them.....I got mine at the poly luau....but I know they also had them at 50's PT

I got mine from a soft drink vendor at Fantasmic.

We got one at Sci Fi and Prime Time. I have also seen them in Oriental Traders Catalog. Only you buy them in dozens if I remember correctly. Try the Oriental Trading website.

We got two at Christmas time and they don't work anymore.

We brought some back for the kids from our anniversary trip in February...they LOVE them. I believe they come in blue, green, red, orange and clear. We got them at 50's prime time.

i saw them at coral reef... i was torqued that the gal tried to hard sell them to us a group of 8 (with 4 kids under 5 y.o.)... you can imagine us trying to convince the kids that we did'nt need them... hell, the kids cups with lids don't even allow you to appreciate the effect of the electric ice cubes

That's why the cups at Sci Fi and PrimeTime are opaque - you can see the light through the cup. And in the dark at Sci Fi, they really glow.

i just spoke to someone at the oriental trading company (after going to their website) - was told that the light-up ice cubes were discontinued - oh well.....

did a search & found these light-up ice cubes - 2 companies online sell them - www.bluetrackcompany.com (called "litecubes" - 3 for $9.95) - and www.coolstuff.com (again, "litecubes" - 8 for $27.00) - colors are red, white, blue, green, yellow & orange

Electric light-up ice does not sound like anything I want in my drink. It also doesn't sound like anything I need to include in my budget. I'll have to stick to the old fashioned frozen-water type ice.
