Leota said:I love seeing this post. It's not my Favorite, but it's on my Top Ten. I just adore it. Very appropriate for young children. The Skeletons playing guitars are for the brief section which shows a Day of the Dead celebration. The skeletons are highly stylized, not literal at all - almost cartoon-y. There are dolls of children dancing & everything is bright, primary colors. Like JulielovesDisney said, the tune is cheerful & catchy like IASW.
The firworks on the ceiling are just beautiful.

My mom has been to Day of the Dead celebrations when she lived in Mexico. it sounds morbid (candy in the shape of skulls), but she said it was actually very nice and joyful. The ride celebrates that.
Sorry to hear about your Grandma.ImagineerVelasco said:Being from Mexico, and having my Grandma just pass away not to long ago, Day of the Dead is a huge huge thing of great importance to me and my family. So if it sounds morbid to anyone... trust me, it's not. Like Sue said, it's very joyful.
I think if you know that the two 8 year olds will behave on the boat by themselves, I would let them do it. Especially if you already rode with them so that they saw where you get off and where you will be.PatsGirl said:I posted this a few months back but it went nowhere![]()
Is it appropriate to let two 8 yos ride this alone (after a trip with the adults) while we wait for dinner? Seems the last time I was there, no line, no wait, and I think you could see where everyone gets on and off -- can someone enlighten me?
