El Pirata y El Perico

Can anyone tell me if El Pirata y El Perico in the MK has been open recently? I had heard that it is only open seasonally now.

Someone posted a report this past week and they ate there. I am hoping it will be open in two weeks.

THey were open during "Jersey Week" which is part of the value season, but it was busy in MK. On the flip side, it was DEAD the first week in December last year and it was open then, too.

We were there during regular season (3rd week June) and it was closed--drat! It was also a Saturday when we were looking for lunch and had made no plans since it was our last day.

We finally decided we'd give Pecos Bill's a whirl (we'd last eaten there in 1992 and HATED IT!--that was pre-fixin's bar and the burgers were so tiny you needed a microscope. Also, there were no sides with the sandwiches and it cost a fortune for the small portions!). We were very pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our huge meals tremendously! Now we know that we shouldn't order a meal for each of us, rather split some items!

Hoping the Pirate & Parrot will be open for your visit!

We were in the MK in SWeptember ( 18 thru 24), and it was open then. We ate lunch there, and had a good time. If in doubt, you can always call and find out if it will be open during your trip.
