EHM - Making plans for June - What to do??

It is getting to be time for me to make my PS. So, I am trying to figure out a tentative itinerary for our June trip. I was wondering what my fellow Disers are planning on doing.

I have looked at the current and past EMH schedule to make my best guess as to what the EMH will be. From there I am trying to decide what parks to go to and what days to make my PS.

So here's my big question. Do you go to the park during the day that has evening EMH, or do you avoid that park until the evening?

For example, looking at the schedule I would guess that Wednesday there will be evening EMH in MK. Would you go to MK during the day, or not?
Do you think it will be crowded because the non-hoppers will be spending their whole day there? :confused3

I figure there are some more experienced Disers than myself who could give me their advice. Thanks! :flower:

I have the same questions and wonder what is the best strategy? We have taken advantage of EE mornings but have noticed that the parks get a lot more crowded in late morning and it's best to hop out of there. I don't know what to expect with EMH evenings. :confused3

Now that they have both AM and PM EMH, and they may have one of each on a given day but in different parks, yikes, I am really confused. :confused3 :confused3 :earsboy:

Im trying to get to the parks that dont have early morn or late nights

Same delema here for our May trip. We plan to still take advantage of the morning EMH and hop or break around 11:00. I think we will avoid the evening EMH park until almost time for EMH and allow time for the off-site guest to leave. We will basically be playing by ear and watch these boards for reports in the meantime.

Yes, I have same questions and also have to plead ignorance on something....I am back on the boards now that we FINALLY have a trip in place...had to reschedule 3 times BLEAH. Anyway, last summer, the parks had the early morning hour (which we avoided, and that strategy worked like a charm) and e-ride nights, which we paid for and used and that was great.

Is this EMH evening hour thing replacing e-ride nights? I am assuming the EMH evening time in place now is free, so they will have larger crowds, but does anyone know if e-ride nights will be offered in June or are they a thing of the past?

Is there a link anyone has to a schedule of EMH morning/evening hours?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, the evening EMH is replacing e-ride nights. I think e-ride nights are a thing of the past. I would also believe that you are right in thinking that they will have larger crowds because they are free.

Here is a link that explains EMH and gives the current schedule.

Hope it helps. :)

Me and DS 8 will avoid parks with EMH regardless (unless we miss something previously due to weather, then will THINK about it). DS 22 and friend 21 will probably take advantage of it. We are planning on starting together in the parks then splitting up so each can do their own things.

My family and I are early risers, so we have enjoyed the morning EMH's in the past. The only place I've learned to avoid during a.m. EMH is AK. While I'd love to see this park at night, I suspect it will be too crowded to enjoy. The crowds just cannot spread out like in the other parks. I'd love to hear what others have experienced crowd-wise with the new evening hours.
