It's almost March and it keeps snowing up a storm. Insanity. It keeps torturing me too. Somedays the snow will melt, and you can see the grass and the next day the ground is covered in snow. This is the time of the year where I get depressed. Looking outside and everything is white and wet.

To those who are living in Florida, I envy you.

Although, this may sound mean, I love watching the people who think that driving with a need for speed on icy roads is going to get them somewhere, when in reality they will end up in a snowbank.

Hope everyone is staying safe and warm though. I know that there have been some bad storms in the USA. :goodvibes

All the snow we have been getting here, I'm starting to think that Snowmageddon has started:scared1:

It is STILL snowing here. It's been snowing since early Thursday. I'm sick of it too, even if I was glad to have some days off work. Where is spring?

The boys missed their 8th day of school due to the weather - I have had enough of it too.

I am kinda sad that Maine has not gotten all the snow the rest of the country got. Our ground is looking kinda ugly. It looks like winter in New Jersey, where I used to live. (nothing against N.J.!) I like the way snow covers the not so pretty winter ground.

I like spring snows in Maine. Just a light snow, it melts away, then we get soon get another coating. Just enough to keep things looking nice. They call these spring snows "poor man's fertilizer".

Next thing I know - there are crocuses and daffodils coming up!

I'm with you. It's been snowing since last night. We are HOPING to take my brother on a surprise trip to Seneca Allegheny Casino tomorrow. Just have to wait and see. I'll be so bummed if we can't go. It's his 40th birthday and he always wanted to spend it in Vegas, but this was the best we could do. It will really stink it he winds up spending it in Cleveland. Stupid snow. :headache:

I woke up this morning to look out the window and see that lovely inch or two of snow cover! Beautiful! No shoveling needed.

By mid-morning, our lovely coating of fresh snow turned into two inches of slush. Now it is all gone!

While I do not derive any pleasure from seeing others have car accidents (even if it is with snow), I am sick of it.

There is a hill over 6' high and at least 8' deep at the end of my driveway. Some days I wonder how it will all ever melt. Of course it will, but there's so much of it.

:cold:

Predicting more for Tuesday and Wednesday. Enough already.

I have to say that usually by this time of the year I am looking forward to the spring weather. shockingly here in southern Ontario Canada, we have had very little snow this winter. We finally had a significant amount of snow fall in one day, but it was only half a foot.

So I am missing the winter storms we usually get, the ones that you are happy in the morning that you have no where to be, but the kids are happy to play outside in the mountains of snow.

I never thought I would say this, but I am not quite ready for spring to arrive.

Though to those of you who have had mountains of snow this winter. I have been there and wish you a speedy spring.

I am sure next year at this time that I will be praying for spring.
