eharmony.com - no matches for me!

I just turned 40 the other week, and still haven't found the "man of my dreams." My boss, also a single female in her early 40's, was telling me that she signed up for eharmony.com the other day. I signed up this evening, took the personality test and everything. I hit the button to find my matches, and there were no matches for me within 30 miles. Undaunted, I tried within 60 miles, since I thought it might be hard for my immediate area. Again, no matches. So, out of curiosity, I tried the ENTIRE COUNTRY. Again, no matches.

So, it's official - there are no men out there for a funny, relatively smart, well dressed, successful, Disney-crazed 40 year old woman. It's nice to have it confirmed....

It's just that you're TOO GOOD for all the men there

I'm 35 and newly single (divorced last year), and it's very very tough. Needless to say, the ex wasn't the man of my dreams (great guy, not just right for me), so I'm still searching also. I'll have to check that one out sometime. Match.com has the best 'selection,' so to speak. But the couple I've went out with weren't 'the one.' Oh well, maybe next time

Honey, don't feel bad, I filled out the questionnaire as a lark (I'm happily married) and the best match they came up with for me was a 54-year-old CPA who is 5'4" tall. Uh, even if I were single, thanks but no thanks, I'm 43, 5"4" myself and not interested.

I met my husband 14 years ago through Great Expectations. We'll be married 13 years a week from today. There ARE men out there; you may not be able to find them easily but there are men out there who are looking for the same things you are. Happy hunting!

The man of my dreams just so happens to be 5'5" tall. A small and mighty hunk of love. Very cute, just a lil on the short side.




Well, that is too funny that that happened. My DH works with a bunch of single men and it is hilarious all the things they come up with to meet women. So, there are good men out there looking!!
