EH at MGM, what do the kids do? Is anything open for small kids?

Hi,

I was just looking at the schedule for MGM's shows on http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/ and it says that:

Little Mermaid does not start until 10:30
Playhouse Disney does not start until 10:00
Beauty and the Beast 12:15

Do these times change for EH?? I hope so!! We like to go to the parks early, so that we can go back to the hotel and swim/nap for the afternoon, but it does not look like there is anything for kids to do before 10??

Can anyone help me out on this? What schedule do you follow with 2 & 3 yr olds with EH?

My DD always enjoys having the playground to herself early in the morning while DS rides TT and R&R. We do not usually take advantage of early entry at any park but MK as it makes the most difference there.

When I was there last week, the only things open for early entry were TOT, RNR, ST, and the Muppets.
The playground didn't open until 10, as we were looking for something other than Muppets for my DS who is nervous about the fast rides. Maybe it has different hours at other times?
So Muppets was all we could enjoy.

I know it was not an early entry day, but I thought it was at regular opening time. As you say they do change the time around and this was last Nov. Really if you do not want to ride the big rides I would not rush over to MGM for EE. There is just not that much there for the little ones. You might even do MGM after doing MK for EE. Just leave MK when it gets crowded and head over to catch a show. The only show that we have ever had a hard time getting into was Playhouse Disney.

With kids that small, I don't think I would bother with EMH at MGM. I would probably either do another park first, then go to MGM or I would use it as a day to sleep in and get over to MGM at a leisurely pace!
