Eggnog..

Anybody got any that they're willing to share? I'm thirsty - and the coffee just isn't cuttin' it today..

Eggnog and coffee, yum! Yes, I do this every year. We have two kids who go on the eggnog search around Halloween, so there's always some in the fridge until we can't get anymore.

I wouldn't try egg nog for the longest time because...well...I thought it tasted like eggs.

Then my roommate (many years ago) made me try it...said it tasted like a vanilla milkshake.

Which it did...so...why do they call it Egg Nog?

I like it and all...but it so filling/fattening I can't buy it! hehehehe

I bought a quart last week (the only one here who likes it) but I drank it already.. Guess I'll have to go for the half-gallon on my next trip..

I have a quart in my fridge. I am a bit afraid to drink it though. Every time I come out with a glass of it, my husband reminds me how terrible it is (fat/calorie wise)

As for the fruitcake? NO WAY!!!! My DH would have loved it though.. I could never understand why he liked it (he also liked mincemeat pie - yuck!) because as a rule he was a very "plain" meat and potatoes kind of guy and didn't go for anything fancy or odd..

Mr Incredible, at this house its Eggnog and Southern Comfort for the over 21 kids. Yum! All this talk about it and I think that's what we'll be having during the tree trimming tonight!
