I love Egg Nog. It is one of the things I miss most about being in the states at Christmas time. My wife has tried a few different recipes to make it herself, but it never comes out quite the same as the kind you buy.

I LOVE eggs. There is no way to prepare them that I don't like. Scrambled, deviled, poached, over-medium, soft-boiled, whatever. LOVE eggs.

It must be the nog that I don't like. I don't even know what nog is, exactly, but I don't like it.

My family loves eggnog. We drink it by the gallons.

We have a family friend who bottles his own. I think it's mostly whiskey...with a splash of eggnog.

I LOVE egg nog but it doesn't love me I have become extremely lactose intolerant AND I can't handle much sugar. I've found sweet dairy products like ice cream and egg nog to be a double whammy that leave me on the floor wishing I could just hurl my guts out

Several years ago Dh found a recipe online for a wonderful sugar free, lactose free egg nog. Unfortunately, he didn't have the common sense to keep it and we haven't been able to find it since If anyone has one PLEASE POST IT!!!

Thanksgiving my dd made me my new favorite holiday drink. Its basically a white russian made with egg nog! mmmmmmmmm

I love egg nog and boiled custard. Their appearance in the dairy section is one of the things that tells me it's almost Christmas. Although this year, I saw some back in October - that's way too early.

I did try to make boiled custard but let the eggs scramble -- I love scrambled eggs but sweetened scrambled eggs....

If you ever see Dutch eggnog made by Bols or one of the other Dutch companies, give it a try. It's quite strong and rich and I adore it.
