I came across a guest today who was being very abusive calling the girl a dumbo and ugly,
but then it got worse and he said you luck ,, and then even worse, luck you.
I reported him and I was told in a message the situation has been addressed.
Guess they need to take luck out of the dictionary ... and every other word that rhymes with it

Was saying cheese.us seriously what Fin called "very bad"? I feel like "very bad" is more along the lines of "obscenity", not "against values." I haven't even seen anyone use cheese.us in ages.

Wow, good to know since I have a teen! And reassuring that it's not due to Cheese.us, which can and is used as an obscenity, just as much as all the OMG's. I often wish I could type omgosh bc while I don't say it often, some situations just have that reaction and I don't want ppl thinking I'm saying oh my god.

i dont get it, there are far more worse words in the VMK dictionary. But they take out cheese?

I still don't get why it would be bad??

I will not place an example here as it would probably be in violation of DIS standards but I have seen the word "cheese" used in vmk in ways that just absolutely amazed me. I believe that these is why it is not around anymore, not due to "Cheese.us."

This is my personal belief, nothing VMK official.

Other than taking God's name in vain, I really do not understand how "cheese" can be used as obscene.

Not that I condone drug talk on VMK, and I understand if that is the reason, but I do not understand how it can be a bad word. I also would have never thought of it to be used for the name of God/Jesus being used as profane either. I guess I just don't think that way.

The reason behind Staff asking for people not to say cheese is because it is a term used for heroin. This "cheese" has become very popular very fast among middle school and high school kids. Many kids have already died from this drug. I believe it was 60 Minutes or Good Morning America that did a specail report on it.
Keep in mind staff are only trying to watch out for the kids. Seeing as the majority of VMK population is kids I would say this was a wise move on their part.

Yes I myself have been victim to the random use of Duck in this usage which is sad because taking that out of the dictionary will make it very difficult to refer to many of Disney's most popular characters. It is so very sad that people feel the need to say bad stuff so much that they have to find ways of using innocent words to do their job.

I always thing of it as Oh My Goodness or Oh My Gosh also and in real life I do say those a bit lol

I feel for Penny losing his favorite word. I felt much the same when Penguin came out of the dictionary and I still don't have any reason why for that. Too bad the reason for Cheese leaving has to do with teens misusing a word once again as Skittles have been.
