Efficient grocery run close to DLR?

Okay, so I know that there is a Target close to the DLR. I am planning on going there to pick up a cheap cooler and some ice for our room.

I also want to make a grocery run for milk, bread, fruit, etc. Does anyone know if there is a shopping center close by that would have both a Target-type store for a cooler/ice and a grocery store for, well, groceries?

I don't want to spend precious time driving all over when I could be at Disneyland

Head north on Harbor until you get to Orangethorpe, on your left is a Target, on your right is Food for Less...

Fruit might not be an option, but I think that Target had bread and milk when we went in there a couple years ago. I know there were cold cases with yogurt and some other stuff like that and some extra food aisles.

There is also a Target about 2 miles south on South Harbor Blvd. 12100 South Harbor Blvd.

Don't know which hotel you are stay at to let you know which is closer.

Forgot to mention we are staying at the Disneyland Hotel.

There is a Big K and a Food 4 Less a half mile west on Katella from DLR.

They are across from each other at the intersection with Euclid.

These are the closest stores of these types to DLR.

I am staying at the DLH too - there is a small fridge in the room and I am hoping not to need an extra cooler.

Anyway - in order to maximize my Disney time I am going to have grocery delivery from Von's which is apparently very close. Of course i do not have a car - sounds like you do. Von's would carry the disposible styrofoam ice chests along with their regular groceries and I am sure they have ice machines at DLH.

Actually the Food 4 Less you're thinking of has closed down.

There is a newer Target at Lincoln and Euclid that also has groceries - milk, bread, small produce selection, etc. Easiest way to get there from DLH is go west on Ball Road (or Katella) and then turn right on Euclid for a couple of miles. Google Map ===> here <===.

There is a food for less near to Katella and Euclid on Katella.. Also a Spanish supermarket on Corner Ball and Anaheim Blvd... They were still there last month...

I always go to Vons..before arriving or in the evening. They close at 2am. It is down Harbor, then make a right on Lincoln and it is right there. For those w/out car, yes they also deliver. We don't have Von's in NJ but I got the Vons card years ago and always use it when shopping to get my discounts!

The bold is absolute. If your are unfamiliar with these stores, a Big K is a Kmart with a grocery section, Food 4 Less is a regular grocery store.

All of our local Targets are now getting full line groceries added. Check with the closest one (corner of Harbor and Chapman in Garden Grove) to see if they've completed theirs yet. If not, head to the aforementioned one at Lincoln and Ball (it's really nice) and do all your shopping in one spot.
