Hahaha, oopsie!! Thanks :thumbsup2

Seriously. How has the presence of EE affected AK attendance, particularly on weekends???

Well, I can't answer your question, but we're going to WDW in 11 days for an 8 day stay and if it wasn't for the possibility of riding EE, we would not be going to AK. We've been there 4 or 5 times and we've seen everything there is to see and, unlike MK and Epcot, which we never tire of, and MGM, where the kids like RnR, TT and Star Tours too much to skip, we were getting bored with AK.

Seriously - it hasn't officially opened yet. Wait until mid April for a real answer.

I went Presidents week and I thought that it made a difference. The touring guides all rated the days I went a "9" however, I thought the other parks weren't that crowded or maybe as crowded as I expected. Even the MK. I might of lucked out and went a good day but I was pleasantly suprised.

I went to the preview weekend for EE and after standing in line for 2 hours to ride EE (and it was well worth the wait once) we headed to MGM and walked onto RR at 12:30 and then walked onto TT and our group of 8 got our own elevator.

When we were at Disney the last weekend in Feb, EE was shown to be open and placed as a reason to visit AK on our information packet. AK was definately more crowded, after AK we headed to EPCOT and found that everything but Soarin' was easy to do, it was less crowded than we expectedas it was easy to move around and the wait at MS was only 10 minutes. MK was less crowded on Saturday morning than I had seen it in the past but we left by 11 to do other things, by that time we had ridden 8 rides, strolled down Main Street and gotten pictures with 8 characters. Sunday morning at the bus stop more people were heading to MK or AK than anywhere else, I rode a bus that wasn't full to MGM and arrived within minutes of opening.

Not open yet? It's the number one attraction on the top 7 countdown on the tv. How can they not open it. It's a great ride, I loved it. Will be a must for me now.

We went to AK last Friday, it was PACKED!! We had an hour wait via fast pass for the Kilimanjaro Safari, both the Africa and Asia areas were very crowded but dino land wasn't that bad.

We got on a bus around 9:00 AM and it was standing room only, the only crowded bus we were on all week.

We didn't do EE though, the 5 & 3 year olds weren't up to it. :teeth:

We were at AK Monday March 6. It was EMH that morning. We had reservations at Donald's Breakfast at 8am which is when the park opened. We didnt get over to Expedition Everest until about 12:00 and there was only a 20 minute wait. DD6 and I rode it first and then DH went. The line moved really fast and really didnt even seem like 20 minutes. I think everyone heads straight to EE as soon as the park opens, so by the time the afternoon comes the line isn't very long. We were at WDW March 3-6 and 20 minutes was the most we waited in line at all the parks. It was a great time to go. Oh, by the way EE is AWESOME!!! :thumbsup2

We went to Ak on this last sunday, And I really can't say, because we left the parking lot as soon as we entered. I've been to Ak too many times to count, and I've never seen the parking lot so full. Even with that all lanes were open at the parking gate, and cars were backed up about 7-10. We left and went to MK, and gates weren't as backed up. (I drove right up, and not all were open)

I think the Powers-that-be are expecting EE to draw some crowds to AK - In June, AK is open until 8:00 pm most nights! With EMH, that'll be 11:00 pm some nights!

AK was pretty darm crowded Sunday (3/12). The wait line hovered around 40 to 70 minutes for most of the day. The single rider line was about a 15 minute wait. They really move some people through the lines though. EE is definately open now although the CM's won't say it. I guess they are making sure all is running smoothly before April. Through shrewd planning and a bit of luck I got to ride it 5 times Sunday and it would have been 6 except around noon when, the train moved 8 inches and stopped. Some glitch in the system. Some folks even had to walk down off the mountain. Everyone on a train got a Fast Pass without any time constraints on it, so you could come back whenever you wanted. But after closing for only a few mniutes it was running for the rest of the day.

MK and MGM have been busy the last weekends we were there. I think the crowd levels are up all over because we didn't see a noticable decrease in people at the other parks.
