Effect of EMH on MK?

I am trying to plan out which days my family will visit each park next May, because our 180 day dining booking window is approaching. On our last (only, so far) trip, we picked parks based on Touring Plan's recommendations. Our experience was that they were not extremely reliable (our first day in MK was anticipated to be a ~4, afterwards Touring Plans said it was actually a 7). The days that Touring Plans recommendations coincided with EasyWDW, we found lower crowds, so we decided to go with EasyWDW's recommendations this time.

I am having some difficulty actually planning it out, though, because MK's recommended days are pretty close together. We have 7 park days. We're going to MK on our 2nd park day (specifically that day because it is our daughter's birthday) and want to have breakfast at O'hana on our final day, followed by MK. Since we'll be arriving late, we know that crowds will be heavier--we look at that as more of a day to do anything that we didn't get to already, or that we want to do one last time. We do not plan to stay the whole day there. We want to schedule one more full day in the Magic Kingdom, but the recommended days would be either immediately before or after one of our other MK days. That seems like it would be overload, but our other option would be to go on a day that has either AM or PM EMH. I cannot see us getting up for AM EMH, and don't think we want to be behind all of the people who did.

How do PM EMH affect crowd levels in the Magic Kingdom?

Thanks for your insight.
