I am trying to finalise our schedule for our October trip (first time at WDW). For now, I am thinking we might visit AK twice, and had assumed that we would take advantage of the 7am EEMH openings. However, having looked at what is open during those times, I'm not sure it's worth getting up so early (plus I could book my daughter the mermaid swimming experience on one of the days).
We already have FPs for FOP and Kilimanjaro Safaris and wouldn't plan to do bigger rides like Everest, Dinosaur etc. For AK, I am more interested in seeing the shows/entertainment and the theming rather than the rides and it doesn't look like there would be any shows on during the EEMH. Is that correct? Any views would be much appreciated!
Also, if we did the mermaid swimming from 8-9am at Beach Club, would we have a chance of getting to FOP before our fast pass expires at 10.10am? Could either drive or take Minnie van if need be, etc
