EEK! A mouse!!!

It's weird, but I'm not afraid of caged pet mice, but one comes in my house and I completely freak out! The cat and dog seem to work well as a pair. The cat will hunt it down and stalk it, while the dog is the real mouse catcher. She even caught a bat once.

I do not like them either. At all. It's that creepy element of surprise...we used to have a cat and I think that deterred them (I hear they can sense/smell a cat). This fall, DH and I were cleaning the basement out and I walked across the basement with a pile of boxes, saw one and threw the boxes down howling and running (just like in a cartoon!). My DH went over to it and it was DEAD! We think I might have scared it to death because I don't think it was dead when I saw it and I had been walking around that part of the basement before and didn't see it! So, I scared a mouse to death! At least it wasn't Mickey!
