Ok so I'm beyond excited right now! It's official we have booked the holiday and got the conformation email :-) we shall be staying in AOA for 14 nights from August 3rd - 17th (very excited about this) we shall be flying with virgin (also excited about this as they are brill) we have our 14 day Disney ultimate passes, the flex ticket excluding busch gardens, and for the first time ever we shall be doing the dolphin swim at discovery cove and have Busch included with that, we also have car hire so all in all everything is sorted and now we are just in need of a little pixie dust to help the time fly by!

Anyone else going around this time? I Need to share my excitement!

:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1: Congrats, will it be your first trip?
You should get yourself a ticker and start counting down ;)

Excellent! I've booked OKW for 25 Aug -8 Sept through wdtc with wdw tickets and dining but no flights or other park tickets sorted yet.

We're going to be at OKW from 9/8/13 - 30/8/13. We're also flying with Virgin just waiting for flight prices to come out, hopefully we'll be able to get M&M. We're also doing DC but this time we've decided not to do the dolphin swim. Not sure yet whether we'll be going to Universal or not. Now all we need is the time to go by quickly! Have fun planning! :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

Sounds fantastic!!:cool1:

Can I ask who you booked with and your costs as I want to August 2013 too.

3rd trip for me and my mum, 2nd for my partner last time he went was 1999 when he was 14 so this is a big deal for him! He is extremely excIted as we all are, but so much has changed since he went so even more exciting for him! Me and my mum last went in 2010 we try to go every 3 years, it's soooo expensive but by far the most amazing holiday each and every time we go! How do you get the countdown things?

Was expensive as always! £2186 each but when went 3 years ago it was £1800 each so the prices haven't gone up too much which shocked me, considering this time we are doing discovery cove to, we booked with kenwood travel, I also got quotes from virgin £2051 but they could not offer us the ticket packages we wanted, and we called ocean Florida, they were fantastic and went out of their way to get me a fantastic price £1999 for everything to but staying at all stars music, but we didn't want to stay here because of the buses not being so good and it's not Disney enough for me, we love pop and they offered us pop century for £2100 but we decided for the extra £86 we may as well stay at AOA as its totally Disney and look amazing :-)

Overall expensive but that's the downside to going in August half term prices are crazy, but my mum is a teacher so we have no choice really!!

:cool1: happy planning!! :)

Surprisingly enough we have no plans! Apart from discovery cove on the 14th of August and downtown Disney on the first evening. Everything else we just decide on the day, see where the mood takes us, we don't really do relaxing, we are out all day every day, we have some down time when we are at the water parks lol, I find it easier having no plans :-)

Sounds great!

We're not sure whether to do DC or not, we did it in 2004 and DD did the dolphin swim. It was our final day due to our original date being postponed due to Hurricane Frances, and although I wouldn't have planned it that way, it was a lovely way to spend our final day.

:)

Teacher here too, kills me when I see cheap deals other times of year.;)

I'm still trying to hold out hope for direct flights for £650ish :)

It looks soooo amazing and I know many people who have been and all say how it was one of the best days they had out there, i'm very much looking forward it it, especially beings none of us have ever been lucky enough to do it before, and i figured if we don't do it now we may never do it! As after this trip me and my partner will be trying for our first baby! so I'm pretty sure the next trip wont be for a long time so we had to make the most of this one!

Although im pretty sure once we have done DC once we will probably want to do it every time we return :rolleyes1

Will you regret not doing it if you don't kind of thing? That's what i always think, we were not sure whether to book it or not last time and decided not to and wished we had we even called to see if there had been any cancellations but unfortunately there hadn't been so we missed out and were pretty gutted to say the least!

some of the deals throughout the year are absolutely amazing me and my partner could travel any time of the year, but my mum loves it so much i just couldn't go without her, besides sharing those special memories that will last a life time with 2 of the most dearly loved people in my life is the worth any amount of money in my eyes :goodvibes

We will also be at AOA for 2 weeks but we leave the week before you. We are also sooooo excited - can't wait to see what AOA is like.:yay:

Very exciting! we usually go the week before but have a wedding to attend next year so had to book for the week after! I am so excited, and knowing i have 2 weeks off of work for such a truly fantastic holiday is such a great feeling, i love my job, but 2 weeks away from it will be heavenly! :)

Doesn't AOA look amazing? I keep looking at pictures and thinking wow!! I'm staying there :D

what area will you be staying in? We are in the little mermaid area, every review i have read on trip adviser have said how wonderful it is, apart from those who moan about it not being as good as some of the moderate and deluxe resorts!! makes me laugh, it's a value resort some people expect far to much to be honest, how can you expect a value resort to be as good as a moderate or deluxe! shocking, but the good reviews on their are just fabulous to read, made me even more excited about going, only downside the main pool (nemo pool) is salt water :( I really dont like salt water swimming pools :crazy2: but to be honest we don't even really use the pools as we are always out and about, last time we spent about 3 hours in the pool for our entire holiday, but people were saying the nemo pool has underwater music playing and the characters talking! So i will have to check this out as it sounds pretty awesome! Also movies around the pool every evening is pretty cool to so i may just spend a little more time at the pool this time if it is as good as everyone is saying :)

We have booked to go 2nd - 23rd August :woohoo: 21 nights at Old Key West! We have the DDP & our park passes, but no flights just yet.. holding out to hopefully get some cheap ones! :)
