My dd 7 is scared to ride EE in August. I told her it will be a lot like splash mountain and big thunder mountian, which she loved both mountain. Will EE be to scary for my 7 year old? Is EE part of fast pass? :tink: :tink: :tink:

I just rode it for the first time and there are parts where it was a little scary. You come out of a mountain at one point and you are WAY over the tree tops. You also stop at certain points in the mountain, theres yeti noises everywhere, and a few yeti "sightings", also you do go backwards. its really fast. so if you think she can handle that or if she thinks she can then im sure she will be fine. its over in like a minutes or less. awesome ride though! :woohoo:

I would think a seven year old with fears would be tricky. I watched the thing being built for three years and I'm now 44 years old and had to talk myself into going on it. I loved it and I hate roller coasters. One hint - do NOT let your daughter see the outside of it. The climb to the top and the "plunge" look a heck of a lot worse than they are.

For a roller coaster wimp, this tops everything at Disney World except for Twilight Zone (still gets me with the mind games). I wouldn't force the issue - let her decide. It's not a stressful ride at all. I wouldn't be going back this weekend to hopefully ride it again if I freaked out. And that is from someone who can't handle a ferris wheel.
