EE/ticket question

I want to leave MGM & hop over to MK for EEpm(there open until 3 am). If I arrive after midnight do our tickets still count for the previous day or will it count as a park entry for the next day. We do not plan on visiting the parks the following day so I wanted to be sure. TIA.

Great question but you shouldn't have any problem hopping to MK even if it is after 12:00 because it's still considered the same day since the park had not closed. Hope this makes sense.

That is correct. Although the EMH takes the park past midnight it is still considered the operating day that the park opened.
For example, if whatever theme park opens at 9am on a Wednesday and the EMH takes it past midnight of Thursday it is still Wednesday as far as the tickets are concerned. This is true even if you enter the park after midnight, which in my example would be Thursday in reality but Wednesday as far as WDW is concerned.
Anyway, you will be fine....no worries.

I'm glad you think its a good question. I was going to title my post "stupid question of the day"

I have a AP so it doesn't matter but the rest of my family are using up park days from last year.
