EE ride order for IOA

Hey there
Heading to IOA on Sunday with EE. We don't have EP. Wanting to do Velocicoaster and Hargrids. Which do we do first? We will also be there Friday night and could wait in line for either one to close the night. Thoughts?

Hagrids first IF you are close to the front of the EE line. If not, getting in line behind everyone else with EE will net you quite a long wait.

Velocicoaster doesn't get the long waits that Hagrids can.

Do try Hagrids at night also, it's even better in the dark! The line does tend to drop in the afternoon/evening too.

FYI...Even if you had express pass, the EP doesn't work for either of those rides. I agree with the others that Hagrid's should be done first, since the Velocicoaster line moves faster. However, everyone goes to Hagrid's first, so you'll still have a long wait. The best strategy is to get in line shortly before the ride closes at night. The risk is that the ride breaks down before you get on it.

I would do Hagrids Friday night at close. Don’t let wait times scare you. Last Sunday night we got in line at 845 with a posted 70 minute wait. We were off the ride in 30.

If you do Velocicoaster for EE, you can get 2-3 rides in very quickly. We usually got to the gates around 715. If you are going for Hagrids for EE, make it more like 7.

The only answer is Hagrids. Get to the gates at least 45 minutes before EE open and book it straight to Hagrids. There are only a few rides that are even open at EE. If you time it right, you can do Hagrid, VC, and get into another line before the park even opens.
