Can someone explain the EE to me please. Is it ONLY the HP areas that are open? We are not HP fans (just not our thing), BUT, would like to check it and ride the rides, but I'm confused as to exactly what EE entails.

Is it just US that opens early? Do you just do whatever is there and then take the train thing over to IOA?

It's something we'd like to check out, but not sure what exactly to actually do?

Thanks!

Which park is open for EE depends on when you go. We went in November and it was US but I have read that lately it is IOA and that during Spring Break it may be both on a few days. You can call the hotel and find out which it will be for your dates. Your signature says you're traveling in June - I don't think June EE schedule is available now. We're going at the end of April and we have not been able to find out which park will have EE for our dates... The last info I saw was that it would be IOA through 3/27.

when i went in january and october last year, DE was also open during ee at the studios.

spidey was only open a few select days during ee when i was there in october.

no ee schedule listed yet this far out from june.

when at the studios, the line for HE can start around 8:30.
it will leave that station and arrive at the other side about 9 on most days.

lots of peeps use it to get to ioa when they are done at DA.

Currently the EE park is IOA. They had a couple other rides open beside the HP things.

We never did EE when on our trip, too much work getting everyone going that early (kids are teens/20s).

sounds like me.

last october i was there for 13 days.
hit ee once around 8:20 and the second time around 8:40.

early mornings at not my thing if i do a long stay.

yes, us too. WE tried EE on one day, and on that day the shuttle lines at Cabana were huge. I think we made it to the park with only a few minutes left. For us it was IoA. As soon as you entered, they had a roped off area to usher you through Dr. Seuss land in to Diagon Alley. Didn't seem like much else was running. At IoA, the only other things that build lines are the Hulk. Spiderman was usually 5 minutes or less, but sometimes the app showed wait times of 60 minutes which made absolutely no sense.

In January, you could see the wait time for the Hogwarts express grow in the morning especially once it hit 11:00. If you could hit it before noon it was a fairly short wait. After 1:00 it was 30 minutes or so most of the afternoon.

When we went in 2013 and did the EE for IOA and the second day we slowly walked back toward HP and took our time. We snap some great photos in Seuss Landing and along the way without people in the photos. My two boys loved doing silly photos and then looking at all the details without a large crowd around. Now once we got into HP it was crowded. lol :faint:
