EE for AP holders?

Howdy all

Wife and I decided to save money and just go the AP route when we go to DL in December instead of hoppers but it looks as if we'll miss out on EE if we do this.

Is it possible to get EE using an AP?

I have an AP too, and the only way I can get EE is to stay at one of the 3 Disney hotels. Any guest at those hotels gets EE each day it is offered.

biolabetty is correct.

Aside from buying a 3+ day park hopper (which wouldn't make sense since you have AP) the only way is to stay on-site.

EDITED - DIDN'T REALIZE YOU DON'T HAVE AP YET. DIZNEYFREAKZ ANSWER WOULD BE ACCURATE. Sorry.

You can do it, buy the park hoppers and use your EE. Then on your last day use your 3 day hoppers to upgrade to an AP.

Of course, you won't be able to use the 10% discounts on some restaurants for the first 2 days, but it might be worth it for EE for you.

I just wanted to confirm something. We are AP holders but we ARE staying at the DLH. We still get early entry right? Also how do we get toontown morning madness? Do guests of the DLH get it?

As a DLR hotel guest you get EE privileges on each day that EE is offered. However, TTMM is only offered to those who book packages through WDTC. Sometimes I see TTMM tickets for sale on Ebay or the sale/trade boards on dis fan sites.
