I know it didn't, but shortly into the backwards in the dark part, I felt like I was upside down. Anyone else feel this? Any ideas?

Although I also know it didn't, it had a disorienting effect which made me feel like it did. Not to mention the fact that it made me a little queasy after doing it 3 times in a row.

The attraction designers will be very happy you felt like that.

(For the same reason the makers of 3D movies like to hear people say, "It looked so REAL, I tried to reach right out and grab it!")

Its a tribute to "good design" when an illusion feels "real".

Tell all your friends. :thumbsup2

My father who rode it in the time right before the official opening still swears that it goes upside down. :rotfl:

He and my mom were in the last seat and I was right in front of them. It was quite a ride. We have tried to convince him that it goes backwards up a helix but he just laughs at us and says he knows upside down when it happens.

He will soon be 95 years old! He and my mom still love the thrill rides!

That's what does it. It does fill like upside down, but just the g force (mild) playing on the mind, along with the disorientation of the darkness.

I just read this to my kids and they think it is great that your parents would ride EE. At 95, that has to make them the coolest people ever! :thumbsup2

I didn't feel like I was upside down at all. I actually think EE is a fairly tame ride. Enjoyable (and smooth!), but not at all like a real "thrill ride" type coaster that goes upside down.

But I've lived my entire life near two amusement parks that do have thrill rides that do all kinds of stuff. So maybe I'm picky.

I totally thought it was great-don't get me wrong-we rode twice one time right after another (had a special fp). I was just curious! Loved it, can't wait to do it again!

Thanks I will tell them that! :thumbsup2

Just this weekend my dad said that my mom wants to go back this Christmas or actually right before it. I told him that we better hurry up and make some reservations or he will not get what he wants!

I know my mom wants to go but I also know my dad loves it as much as she does! They are such children! :rotfl:

:flower: Just back from WDW last week. I rode EE 9x this trip (loved it) and found the most intensity while riding in the LAST car (the front seat gives you an incredible view right before you go backward). It was then when I felt like I was being turned upside down. JMHO
