EE Dilema

Here's the deal - It will be just me and DS12 (turning 13 on our trip) from April 26 - 30. DS has Down Syndrome. He LOVES SpaceM and Test Track. BTMRR is too jerky for him (he used to love it, but last trip hated it). He hasn't tried RnR. I don't know if he will like EE or not.

He doesn't like AK overall. He loved Tarzan Rocks, but with that gone, there really isn't any other reason to go to AK. He just doesn't want to be there. There is no way we will get there early a.m. - so I'm afraid of FP running out. There is no way he'll do the 90 minute line.

Since EE would be the only reason to take time to go to AK on a very short trip, I'm just not sure it's worth the effort - might not like it, might not get to go anyway b/c no FP....

What would you do?

If it was me I wouldn't waste my time going over there.A friend of mine who rode EE said it's something like BTMRR so I woldn't risk it.

Since y'all will just be there a few days I'd spend time doing the things he really likes!

I don't think EE is as jerky as BTMRR. There's one big jerk near the beginning when you stop on an incline, but the rest is pretty smooth. That said, as much as I like EE, I wouldn't go to AK for that one ride. IF there's nothing else at AK that your son likes, why bother?

Expedition Everest is kind of like a smoother (MUCH smoother) and longer Big Thunder Mountain Railroad with a backwards part and a drop. I think it's the best ride at Disney World. However, I wouldn't go to Animal Kingdom just for that if your son doesn't like the park for anything else. Even if you did get FastPasses, the return time could be for hours away and then what would you do in between? I'd say save this for when your son decides he wants to visit Animal Kingdom for longer than one ride.
