Can anyone comment on what early entry has looked like at IOA yesterday and today? Just curious as we will be there next week :)

We arrived at 6 this morning to moderate lines. Gates opened around 6:30. There was a feeble attempt to verify early access after the gates were opened, but it wouldn't be hard to slip through.

Crowds were led through the park with blockades at a couple of points to slow things down. There was a large switchback at the entrance to Diagon where they were counting the number of entrants.

We were at Gringotts by 7 and have been sitting by the talking Goblin for the last hour and a half. They told us coming in that Gringotts would not start running until 9:00--disappointing with early entry starting at 7. It seems they are still having trouble with this ride.

Diagon Alley was stunning. I am anxious to see more if we ever escape from Gringotts.

Thanks for the info, it is very helpful! :)

Has anyone done EE at Hogsmeade? We check in on Monday so I'm thinking we will EE at IOA to ride the train and save DA for Tues and Wed. Looking to get an idea of wait times to ride HE from Hogsmeade during EE :goodvibes

I moved it to an appropriate thread. Haven't had coffee yet so my brain isn't fully functioning.

We'll prob try EE at IOA tomorrow.

We did EE at IOA this morning. We arrived about 7:05 and walked right in and straight to Forbidden Journey. None of the chaos we saw in US yesterday.

We waited 15-20 min for Forbidden Journey. Just long enough for the best parts of the queue.

Afterward DD and I did Flight of the Hippogriff walk on. The others headed to the Dragon Challenge but the line was long, even with the express pass so we decided to leave it for later.

We left Hogsmeade and did Jurassic Park, Hulk and Dr. Doom walk on. Also hit parts of Seussville walk on and then headed back to take the Hogwarts Express and work our way back to the hotel to check out.

Overall, EE at IOA worked very well and it was a great time to visit that park.

I'm so glad to hear that. We have never been to either and are expecting complete chaos, so knowing that at least one park will be manageable makes me much calmer.
