Well, I look at JFK, a notorious womanizer, and I've heard he was a great president. I do believe people can keep their sex lives and work lives separate.

BUT I still think it's wrong morally.

By the way, he's denying he's the father of the baby because of the timeline, but he hasn't taken a paternity test. He really should have done that by now, as it'll be worse when he eventually has to retract that denial.

This is such a shame. I'd have liked to see him be VP for Obama, as I like him from a political standpoint. I hope he and his wife can deal with this as privately as possible, whatever the outcome may be. It's so unfortunate that she has to deal with this on top of her health concerns.

Gosh, I feel really sorry for his wife and kids. I hope the press leaves his wife and kids alone and doesn't try to get their reaction on film. I wish more politicians would take their marriage vows more seriously.

i still discount half of what i read in the enquirer. they staged an incident to make edwards '\ess up.

it really isn't any of our business anyhow...he is a private citizen not currently running for office.

he said the affair happened when his wife's cancer was in remission so he wouldnt look like a complete jerk...you know, likeMcCain divorcing his crippled first wife.

still, i dont believe an extramarital affair is a disqualification from office. couple it with criminal behavior, or use public funds in furtherance of thhe affair, and it becomes our business.
