Editing a photo for me.(Help)

My DW loves this photo,

Can you take the Carnival Ship out of the background as well as the Carnival Stack and possibly the date?

I have yet to get into this type of editing, and a brief explination on how you did it would help enlighten me too....

You can crop out the date, and prob clone out the other ship in Photoshop. I have not done much cloning, but there are some very good cloning editors on this board.

Here you go, if you like it and you have the orginal at full size just e-mail it to me and I will also fix that one, I used PS CS2, first I used the patch tool to remove most of the area not wanted, then I just cloned the surrounding sky to match and same for the date. When doing this you should enlarge it to at least 200% to get in close.
