Last Spring I bought a cardigan at the Eddie Bauer outlet store, that was on clearance for $12 or $14...something like that.
This is my "work sweater" that I wear there when I get chilly, so it hasn't gotten much use at all. Last week, I tried to zip it up, and realized that the zipper is messed up.
I no longer have my receipt since it's been about 5 or 6 months. I've heard the Eddie Bauer has a very good return policy, but how would it apply to a clearance item...especially when I no longer have the receipt and the item is no longer carried? Would they just give me back the lowest sale price of the cardigan (probably only a few dollars), or let me pick out a different one?
Thanks for any advice.
