ECVs from the parks

I have rented ECVs from Randy's before, but, I'm only going for 3 days and from what I just read, they only accept 1 full week. Also, I'm hoping not to need one every single day so was thinking of just renting the ones at the parks. Have they ordered any new ones yet. The last time I rented from the parks was in 2002 and they seemed to need new ones. Anyone have any experience with the park ECVs lately (in the past 6 months?). If not, can you recommend someone that will accept a 3-day rental? TIA

I just called Randy's (it is a local call for me) and asked. They only have a two day minimum, and it is $75 for two days and then an additional $35 per extra day and then the price cuts off at less than $200 for a week.

And Disney has gotten new ECVs recently. However, there are two major problems. One is being four wheel they are harder to maneuver than the three wheels. The other is the new front bumper will not allow the ECVs to get on the Friendships which travel the World Showcase Lagoon. (I verified the last by talking to a person who has worked the Epcot boats for six years; he said they have tried making changes to the ramps but it does not work.)

We use Walker's and they have no minimum. If you arrive in the afternoon of your first day, they don't usually charge you for a full day. They also didn't charge us for a full day on the last day, because we left it at the front desk the evening before/before 9 am on the last day.
