Dh and I are going to Disney June 6-13 and want to take 1 morning to go to Blizzard Beach. I use an ECV, how is that going to work. I can walk a pretty good bit in the morning, it just depends, but I can't stand for long periods of time before I get severe cramps in my legs. I don't know what to do and I want to enjoy BB, not just sit on a lounge chair and watch.

Please help :confused3

We do get people bringing ECVs into the water parks. We do not have any available to rent or loan.

There are paved paths all over the place, and there are areas where you can pull off that are not sand. But if you got in line for a slide you would have to park near the exit area and then walk up the stairs.

In TL the only slide that has an elevator is Crush 'N Gusher. At BB there are no elevators, but the ski lift will get you most of the way to the top for the more extreme slides.

Thank you Chesire, I knew you would have the answsers I was looking for. I will have an ECV that I will rent from offsite. I don't like the extreme slides, so that won't be a problem. I will just manage as well as I can depending on how I feel when I get there that morning.

The wave pool and the lazy river are very fun, as is the family/group tube ride. The big downside with a lot of the slides is there is a lot of walking up stairs and standing in line. A couple recommendations though...wear those aqua sock shoes to avoid scratching/bumping your feet. Also, the bottom of the wave pool is textured (for lack of a better word), so I highly recommend board shorts (they are designed to be worn in water and often sold near the bathing suits). Otherwise, if you're sitting in the shallower end, you can scratch your legs and snag your suit.

Have fun!
