I saw on another thread where someone questioned which wrist is better to have MB on. It got me wondering which wrist is better when using an ECV? I use right thumb on throttle while driving. Anyone find that one wrist is better than the other? Going next week.

I found it easier to have my Magicband on my right wrist. Seemed like, since I am right-handed, I was able to make better contact with the Mickey Head that way. But what I mostly did during the trip was take off the Magicband and keep it on the ECV handlebar. When I needed to use it, I removed it from the handlebar and just held it in my fingers. That worked best for successful contact on the first try.

I am right handed, drove using my right hand and had my magic band on my right hand last month when I went to Disney. It wasn't a problem using it that way.

DD kept putting her MB on the handlebars of my ECV; eventually we lost it because it fell off. Not a good idea. After that she wrapped it round the strap of her shoulder bag.

At the front gate there's only one scanner for your queue: might be on the left or the right.

For most of the rides, though, I found scanners on both sides, and would scan from my right wrist.

I think the query was whether people would have a problem if they were wearing the band on the wrong wrist. Apparently during the initial trials you had to scan your MB and finger at the same time. Obviously people using crutches, wheelchairs or ECVs wouldn't be able to do that.

I scan my magic band and finger at the same time from my ecv no problem. I chose an entrance with scanners on my left because that's where I wear my band

I tried it on both. One day on the right, one on the left.

Other than forgetting which wrist it was on, it didn't make any difference.

I was planning on wearing mine on a lanyard around my neck next time I go, so I never have to worry about getting my hand and arm into the right position.
