Is there a designated viewing area for ECV's? I know in Epcot there are so was wondering if there is in Magic Kingdom?

At MK there are accessible viewing areas for parades, not for castle shows or fireworks.

Enjoy your vacation!

MK says since the fire works are high there is no need for a separate area for WC. I suggest getting to the area that you would like to see wishes early if you would like to do main street but there are other really good area to see wishes at too.

The Mk castle has a wheelchair/ECV area for the night parade. You can go to the night parade and be there for the fireworks later. You do have to get there early for the parade to get a spot. It won't be the best spot for the fireworks, but it's not a bad one, either.

Some people will flock by the Crystal Palace restaurant and view the fireworks from that area. Again, you need to show up early.

Does that mean I can park the ECV anywhere I want for the fireworks as long as it's not in a walking path that they are keeping clear for people to move through the masses? I mean you could put it right in the middle of the masses if you liked? I find that interesting.

Also, how easy is to move from the ECV area for the night parade in the hub to somewhere else for the fireworks after the parade? I'm not particularly fond of that spot for watching fireworks and would rather use a FP for the fireworks. They do allow ECVs into the FP area, right? I think that would work much better for me and my kids. If we stayed in that spot, I am pretty sure I'd lose my kids in the aftermath when the masses are moving.

I do FP for wishes a lot you can see most of the parade for this area. You can see the castle projection show too. If you can get FP for this I would. You can wait on the area for about 10-15 minutes after wishes the main crowd is gone and it is easer to get out of there are 2 parades then second is not as crowded so you can find a good spot

Thanks! That's the kind of information I needed. My DS12 will have to be in charge of the stroller for DD3 so I don't want to be stuck in the masses after Wishes. I think FP will be perfect for us then if we can remain in the area until at least part of the masses has clearled.

I watched Celebrate the Magic and Wishes from the huge open area between Main Street and the centre of the hub. Now they've opened it all up you can basically get a great view from anywhere.

I missed the first showing of CeM on Wednesday as I was stuck in a bottleneck at the bridge, but once we managed to get moving again it opened out again and I was able to drive into a nice open bit to watch Wishes. Not long after Wishes they showed CtM again and I moved towards one of the raised flowerbeds that people sit on to watch, and wedged my front wheel against it so no-one could come and stand in front of me, and got a fantastic view of the second showing.

The best place to watch Wishes in a scooter, I've found, is basically anywhere in the south side of the hub. There are a few sight-restricted areas behind trees and lights, but otherwise you can see any of the fireworks with no problem at all. Tip: if there's enough space pull back from the people in front so you're further back from the height restrictions meaning you get better viewing angle.

My major bugbear is when you drive up to a rope for a parade and there's no-one either side of you, but near the time they come and practically sit on your scooter, lean in front of you and basically restrict ALL your vision. Scooters unfortunately cannot push the wheels out so the rider is sitting flush with all the standers. I think the only option next time we do a parade is to leave the scooter just behind where I'm going to view and stand in front of it so I'm flush with everyone else standing. What I've also done in the past is park along the rope and swivelled my seat round so I'm actually at the rope. Trouble is, then my legs dangle (pulling on my knees) and people will still lean over you!
